FAQ
Q: What should I do if the screen turns on but then goes blank when attached to the iPhone?
A: If the phone can be powered on normally, try restarting the phone or reinstalling the screen. You may also try removing the battery and reinstalling it. It's recommended to watch the installation video on YouTube to familiarize yourself with the steps.
Q: Will the phone indicate if it is not an original screen?
A: Yes, the phone may show a message that the screen is not original. This can be resolved by transferring the original IC. We provide a free IC removal cable inside the box. This process can be tricky, and if the main chip needs to be replaced, we suggest performing the installation under professional guidance. However, the screen will still function even without moving the IC.
Q: Will the iPhone show an overheating warning after installation?
A: Please make sure to remove the protective sticker from the back of the screen before installation. The sticker is only meant to protect the LCD during shipping. If left on, it may cause an overheating warning after installation. The original screen operates at around 35°C, while our screen is at 40°C—only 5°C higher. If this is a concern for you, please buy with caution.
Q: What should I do if the language can't be switched after installation?
A: Language switching is controlled by the phone’s main control board, not the screen itself. To change the language, first delete the existing language settings, then set the desired language. Be sure to remove the language from the language list before adding a new one, or the language may not be added successfully.
Q: The screen shows white spots in the background, is the screen broken?
A: No, the white spots are not a sign of a broken screen. They will disappear automatically after about 30 minutes. This happens because the screen is covered with a transparent protective film during shipping. When you install the screen and peel off the protective film, static electricity may cause these spots to appear. However, after about 30 minutes, the static electricity dissipates, and the white spots will disappear on their own. This is a normal occurrence, so please be patient and give it some time before reassessing the screen.
