Instructions are left up to the installer to figure out and source.Tools provided were of pretty poor quality.Comes with some small parts tools, cheap metal tweezer, and a razor blade edge that I am thinking was supposed to be used to cut or pry the old screen from the adhesive.After seeing the tools, I used my own set.There weren't many clear instructions on removing the screen from my model of tablet.Ended up using a heat gun to loosen the adhesive and then a prying knife tool to separate the old screen.There was a protective edging around the screen on my model that made it almost impossible not to slightly damage.Was able to get the old broken screen out, clean the old adhesive off, and apply the new screen without much issue.Screen was slightly lesser of quality, visually.When touchscreen was used the first time, a "wet spot" appeared on the screen as if there was liquid between new touch screen and LCD.It has not gone away since then.Gloves were used and touchscreen had a protective film that was removed just before application, as it directed should be done.I'm assuming this is due to the lesser quality of touchscreen and possibly some flex in it.If you are planning to use the tools that come in this kit, you may want to keep in mind that the tools are not very adequate and will make installation much more difficult than it needs to be.If you have never done anything like this before or do not have any experience with DIY or electronics handyman, you may want to keep in mind that you may end up damaging the device to a point where it would be less costly to just replace it.If you do go through with this, I recommend purchase of a better toolkit and take your time. Also be sure to organize part removal to know what went where and all parts are re-installed properly.

My kids fire tablet developed a few cracks and we were about to go on a long car trip so I wanted to get the screen replaced. This kit was affordable and I knew I could do the work. It paid off great. Came with all the tools and cleaners. The glass was supplied with 3m tape. After replacement the screen looks as clear as new and the touch response is the same as factory. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was a small scratch in the glass on one side.

The product and additional tools were good and the You tube video was the only way of knowing how to replace this screen ( there were no instructions with the screen ). The degree of difficulty was not for a novice and one had to be a technician to understand the video.Thank you for the ease of returning this item.

Not as easy as YouTube makes it look! Instruction would really be helpful with this product! I broke the LCD part trying to remove the screen! Now the tablet is unusable! It’s kind of hard to return it when you have already placed it down.
