Don't know why, but the edges on this tool are extremely sharp. Have to hold handle with a towel.

The product works well to get the lids off preserving jars without bending them and will work for years, but I was disappointed with the quality for the price. The edges around the grip should be filed down. Right now they are sharpish. I thought the handle would have been more solid.
