These pads are quite a bit thicker than the orignal pads, and mine starting falling off an hour after I put them on. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Like the title states. My order perfectly matches the inserts of the mouse. Easy to remove the old and slipping grips. Wipe down and install the new ones. They feel just like the factory ones that came with the mouse and I'm comfortable with it. I'm sure this will hold up for another 6 months up to 2+ years. I've had my mouse since 2016 and only replaced the pads once in 2022. Issue like others stated is the oil and heat from your hands/environment causes the adhesive to wear. So it could fail sooner. Or if youre lucky like me. Many years later. But why replace the mouse when you can just order these? Only time will tell. But the product meets my expectations upon arrival.

The oils on the skin of your hands gets absorbed by the rubber pads which softens the adhesive and causes the pads to come off. Next time you replace pads, seal them with some clear nail polish first thing before you use them. They will last a lot longer.Replaced the rubber pads a little over a year ago and used clear nail polish to seal them to protect them from the oils on the skin of my hands and the pads are still firmly attached with no sign of them coming loose. I touch up the nail polish coating I put on the pads from time to time because it does peel from friction but nail polish is the solution to the problem. Or, if you don't like that idea, wear a glove on the hand that drives the mouse.

I actually prefer these over the ones that comes with the mouse, the grips feel a lot more gripper and with the tape being 3M i have better faith in these lasting longer than the standard ones. get these over the ones sold by steelseries

The rubber pads that came on my Rival 600 were glued on with some very poor adhesive, that had athe rubber pads peeling off weeks after I opened the box. These came with proper 3M adhesive, and also feel higher quality than the stock pads.Update: These will need replacing every few months, but that's more to do with a design defect with the mouse (which SteelSeries is responsible for), rather than this product itself.

Dont expect them to be better than the grips that came on the mouse. They're the same, and will most likely last about a year or so before you have to replace them again. But for $10 and 2 day shipping you cant really complain, they work as intended.Theyre made of the same material, and actually - they dont adhere quite as well.I cleaned off the glue goo from the original set prior to putting these on, and specifically the part that folds onto the bottom if the mouse, it doesnt want to stay stuck. It keeps lifting, and then dragging on my desk mat. They are also just a teeny tiny bit too big for the grip areas. Its nothing causing an issue, but as they wear after a few months I can see they could start to get "flappy".So nothing to rave about. These are exactly what they are, and work as described/intended. They aren't an upgrade. I would get maybe two sets to have another on hand for when these wear out the same way. If you want an upgrade or something different - that site with four letters, with hand crafted stuff for sale has some grips made from racket tape. They cost a little more and take longer to ship, but could be our longer term answer to improved grip comfort on a fantastic mouse.

About a year ago, I replaced the original anti-slide pads on my Rivel 650 with these. They fit pretty well, felt pretty good and I went on my day. After about 1 year now, I went to grab my mouse and noticed that one of them had slid about 2cm out of place. I pushed it back and it feels well adhered... but it's clear that it's time to replace them again.

Anyone who owns a steel series rival knows that the rubber grips on the side have the worst adhesive. It doesn't last, they begin slipping and peeling away after a few months of consistent use. These aftermarket grip pads are the best ones I've used to far. I have used a couple different replacement pads just to see what was out there, what felt good in my hand and what adhered the best. Pads from other sellers are a bit squishier, these are a bit more firm, and soft feeling. Overall, I really recommend this product when you need to replace your rival grip pads.

Update:After a little time and some use, the adhesive again melted, the pads started sliding around, and the mouse is again sticky and unpleasant to use. I'm beginning to regret the money I spent on it.---I bought this because the adhesive had melted on the original causing the pads to slip and a general sticky feel that made the mouse unpleasant to use.The new pads are a slightly different texture and have a better feel. The fit was perfect and I'm told the new adhesive is less problematic than the original.Tip: Pull off the pieces (they're magnetic) before working on them. The alcohol swab is not sufficient to adequately clean them up. Use cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol. Clean the little valleys, not just the surfaces. Let the alcohol dry before putting the pieces on. You can move the pieces a little after you put them on, but do your best to get them oriented right to start with. Let them "set" for a bit before using the mouse.Of course, you can buy a mouse for about nine bucks, but since I paid $70 for this mouse, I felt that nine bucks was not too high a price to pay to fix it.Totally satisfied with this purchase.

I love steelseries products but these mouse side grip were glue on with terrible stuff. It was slide very easily and come out of place. These replacement grips come with 3M glue which is WAY better than whatever SteelSeries use and they do not move at all once in place. They also make the mouse feel a bit slimmer, Or maybe it just feels that way because the original glue was on there THIIICK and nasty like.Note: When removing the original pads make sure to use alcohol to remove all the glue, let it dry and then put on these replacements.
