My gerbils love this wheel! I needed one with height adjustment, and for the price this one can't be beat! It's also silent, don't even hear it when their using it.

My gerbils are housed in a glass tank, so I need an exercise wheel with a stand rather than one that clips to the cage. The wheel didn't come with instructions, but there's a diagram in the Amazon product description that shows the order of the parts when attaching the wheel to the stand. This is a very generous-sized wheel for gerbils, and would be big enough for a Syrian hamster as well. The bolt is made of medal which is important, because I'm replacing a wheel with a plastic bolt that snapped. The height is adjustable so I can bury the base in the bedding and the gerbils have easy access to the wheel. Very quiet, as promised.

My gerbils get new items nearly every single month. This new wheel happens to be one of their favorite items to use. They are so full of energy and they enjoy running on this wheel. It’s made from really sturdy materials. It’s lightweight too and tends to move around in their cage a bit, so I put a heavy rock on one end. The rock is good to have too, because they scratch it to keep their nails trimmed. The wheel is super silent. I love that feature.

In really like this wheel for my Robo hammy. Plenty of room and he can go FAST! I like it cause it has an adjustable height. Winston likes to burrow deep so I put a lot of bedding down. This allows for that. I got some little poster double sided pads to put on the bottom of the stand. That way no worries about it moving or falling over. It seems quite sturdy. It’s not totally silent but that’s okay. I don’t mind a slight noise. I like everything about this wheel and highly recommend. Plus it’s attractive!
