I have been trying to manufacture one for some time now using my 3D printer but without an exact part it was difficult, plus my printer broke down. I broke down and purchased this little part. It came in the mail and within a minute (including trying to open the package without a knife or sharp instrument, this thing snapped right in. Problem solved!

I got my car from enterprise car sales. This was a missing existing piece. I ignored for a few years even though I could see my glove box light sliver as it wasn't shut completely. I finally figured out the problem, ordered this piece and it literally took 10 seconds to snap in place and now glove box is 100% normal. Should have done it before as it did always annoy me, but better late then never.

I just got a "new to me" 2016 Escape and the glove box wouldn't close all the way. Did a little research and for some reason this piece missing seemed to be a common thing. I mean, who and why would anyone remove that part...seriously?! Well, this part fit exactly as said. 3 second fix! Literally!
