Fits snugly as you would like. Grease up inside lips slides over. Provided clamps are too small as others noted. Save and Use old clamps.

A number of people report that this fits their 199X's thru 201X Ford F250 and F350 but I suspect this is only for the smaller gasoline engines. This boot is way to small for fir the rear driveshaft on the 7.3L diesel (and maybe others). The correct boot for the 7.3L has 3 bellows in it instead of 4.

I have a 2 part shaft where the splines mate up at the slip joint. The boot covers this area to protect it from weather and dirt clogging up the splines and rusting. When I looked one day, while changing the oil, my boot was gone with only the clips and torn boot pieces remaining. So began the search for a new boot. The dealers do not sell this boot unless you want to buy a new driveshaft. Went through three dealers. Went to Advanced Auto, O'Reilly's, AutoZone, and NAPA. They just don't have it. There is no boot for my truck for the slip joint. Now starts the online search and trying to phrase the correct terminology to find the boot. I finally found this part here. Ordered for like $30 plus dollars. It comes in and all excited to rip out the drive shaft. Put in new U joints, do some rust removal and paint the shaft, grease the splines with Smurf snot (Motorcraft blue Teflon grease, PTFE lubricant 3oz) and finally the boot. The boot is too small. Compared the snap rings for new boot to old ones. Snap rings are noticeably smaller on both sides.I want my truck back on the road and not waste the lubricant (cost $30 from dealer). So begins the online search again. For7.3l 4x4, the correct boot has 3 bellows not 4. Finally found it on Amazon and it is made by Spicer. That makes me happy.Do not get this part for your 7.3l. It is the wrong part, too small. Spicer 212007X is the correct part despite Amazon saying it does not fit. Read the comments and most of them specifically say it fits the 7.3l. Plus I can verify it definitely fits the 7.3l.One more time, Spicer 212007X is the part you need. You're welcome in advance.Do not get this part for your7.3

No problem with the quality or the seller but it did not fit the slip joint on my 2004 F250 with 6.0. I had to return to sender.
