普段、黒いサックスを吹いているので、見た目に惹かれました使い心地も問題ありませんただ、サックスケースの緩衝材も黒いので、どこにいったか分からなくなることがあります(笑)

I didn’t care for the feel or the sound. Also, the black color may be OK on a metal mouthpiece but hard to see on a hard rubber mouthpiece.

I like these reeds, but the rating system is screwed up. I wanted MH strength. I ordered a 3 as described on the Forestone website. However, in the US a 3 is an M. Completely non-sensical. I ended up with a useless expensive reed that is the wrong strength.

Ggood reed but I find the sound is a little sharper than the Legere. Good for a rock player maybe. Otherwise a gine reed

リードの硬さがラベル表示のもの（このアマゾンの画像）と印刷のものの2種類あるようだ。最近のは印刷表示だが、ラベル表示には明らかに硬さの番手が1〜2硬い物が混在しているようだ。以前のはMSで買ったのにどう使ってもMかそれ以上の硬さになっている。ラベルの貼り間違えか？なので最近の印刷バージョンのMSを買い直して無事に使えている。ロットにより若干の硬さのバラツキもあるようだが、硬さが合えば フォレストーンの”ヒノキ”より良い感じかもしれない。ただし、リード先端が僅かに反っている物が有るようで、反ったものは番手の割にかなり硬く感じる。反りを是正する意味でもリードケースでぴったりラカス面に押し付けて保管する必要があるだろう。ケーンに比べてリードの背丈の厚みがあるのでリガチャーについては工夫する必要が生じる場合がある。新製品のW-Blast(両目ブラスト)を試したが、こちらの方が使い勝手が良い様だ。従来品より柔らかくMSらしい硬さになっている。片面ブラストは、どうもリードの余分な反りを生み出している可能性があり、これが正しいとすれば両面ブラストの新製品の方がバラツキが少ない可能性がある。Mを再注文した。いわゆる合成リードは市場にあるものはほぼ全て試したが、フォレストーンが最も安定している。数百時間は性能をキープしている。有名な合成リード（白いヤツね）は次第にリードが薄くなって来るのが目視で確認でき、80時間で縦に裂けた。地球温暖化の影響もあってか、ケーンリードの品質低下が顕著な昨今、合成リードは致し方ない選択肢なのかもしれない。少なくとも日々の練習には必須のアイテムだろう。

I've tried every synthetic reed on the market trying to find one that I like.....I'm still looking.On a side note, this was a little softer than a vandoren 2.5. More like a 2.
