I ordered this as a gift for a friend that's really gotten into tea recently but hadn't ventured into loose leaf so naturally, I needed to remedy that with a perfect mug. My friend loves the mug and says it stays warm while working, is easy to hold, and is jut the right size. For anyone liking massive cups of tea this mug probably isn't for you and you might prefer others in the more common ~17oz size, but I'm planning on getting one of these for myself because it's well designed and comes in great colors.

These are perfect mugs for tea lovers! Beautifully designed mug, lid and infuser; so easy to use; great heat-retention. And, of course, the mugs are good for tea bags or coffee, as well. Great selection of colors (exactly as pictured). We're so glad to have been able to get them through Amazon!

I drink a lot of tea and this makes it easy to have loose leaf tea at work. The lid works as a plate to set the tea on after it steeps. The only downside is that if you microwave the cup it gets very hot and it's hard to hold it just by the rubber.

I love this mug. I have one in almost every color they offer because I want plenty of them in my cabinet for my family and guests. The colors are all gorgeous (always prettier than pictured).I mainly use these for coffee....I haven't even tried the tea basket, but I can tell you, it is definitely quality. Very sturdy and well made. I have used the basket to strain out very fine particles from liquid and it works great for that.Okay, so is it worth the price? If you're going to use it for its intended purpose, brewing and drinking tea from the same receptacle, then absolutely yes...I think you're getting an excellent quality item for your money. If you're going to use this solely as a coffee mug like I do....you aren't really getting your money's worth, but I love the look and feel of these mugs so much that I just couldn't help myself!Too bad they don't sell just the mug separate from the lid and basket...

I love this tea cup. It holds more than 12 ounces, it is dishwasher safe, comes with its own functional strainer and matches my teapot perfectly. I have become accustomed to using teacups without handles for drinking tea at home, so the lack of one feels more natural to me. I don't think the mug gets too hot, but that's just me.I wouldn't use this as a travel mug, but it is perfect for the home. The cover keeps tea warm longer, and it keeps cat hairs out of my tea.Making and drinking tea has become somewhat of a ritual for me, setting aside time for quiet reflection and allowing me a moment to sort through everything in my head. In short, this teacup fits my lifestyle perfectly.

LOVE these-- now I have 8 of them. I'm an avid tea drinker, and this cup is well made to make a delicious cup. The strainer is large enough the leaves have plenty of room to expand, I love the handle-free style, and the little rubber grip thing makes it easy to hold a piping hot cup and not get burned. I can also pop the lid on my cup to keep it warm after brewing. Love the colors. Getting rid of most of my other miscellaneous cups. Perfection!

During the winter, I turn into a hot tea obsessive. This little cup is awesome for making a nice cup of tea with loose tea leaves. I like to cup it with my hands for extra coziness, and the robin's egg blue is pretty. It's okay to stick it in the microwave (the cup, make sure you're not sticking the metal filter in there), and you can take the filter with you to work or wherever because it fits normal coffee cups as well. The only downside is that I spend way too much money on tea from Teavana or Tea Forte, but there are worse habits in the world.

This is by far the best cup I've ever seen for making tea for one. It seems sturdy and it's a pleasure to drink out of. The black rubber grip is perfectly placed and keeps you insulated from the hot tea. The infuser works really well with all types of loose tea, and the lid is smartly designed to hold the infuser after steeping without dripping onto the counter. I chose the white one so that I can appreciate the color of the tea. I use it at home, but would be great for work as well. It's a little pricey at $25 with shipping, but well worth it.
