Exactly what I needed to reinforce the garage door for new opener installation. While you could get by with the small bracket that’s about 4” long, this bracket is secured the entire width of the panel, for the best long term strength and protection of the door.

Does what it's designed to do. Adjstable length makes it very flexible. Took a second to understand how it worked, but once it clicked, it was clear and easy to install. Take comfort in knowing the door is solid after this update or fix.

Whoever designed this thing should win an award! Some people have complained that there are no instructions. You can assemble this thing a number of different ways to fit your need. That's why they are no instructions. Just look at the pictures of peoples installations on the Amazon website where they sell this device and you can figure it out. I saved myself a few thousand dollars because I didn't have to replace my garage door.
