Forrest's blades offer a superior cut that leaves a rip-cut saw edge that is as smooth as if it had been sanded, and a cross-cut edge that is almost mark-free. The blades run very quietly, and backside tearout in plywood is negligible. Each blade is virtually hand-made. The plate is hand-tensioned (up to 15 minutes per blade), superior C-4 carbide teeth are hand-brazed to the plate, and the blade is straightened and restraightened multiple times throughout the process. Think of a Forrest blade as a tool in your shop, not an accessory. Forrest stands behind it's blades by offering a sharpening service that bring blades back to the exact tolerances offered in a new blade. These are very sharp and of great quality.I needed a new set for cutting 3/4 inch deep dados. I was impressed with how effortlessly it removed the material and left a smooth surface.I’d definitely buy another set.

Forrest Dado King:I finally went ahead and spent top dollars for what is supposed to be THE industry standard for dado stacks. It comes in a very nice storage container and all the teeth of the blades are protected by a coating of plastic which will need to be removed before use. I like that the shims provided are magnetic. I expect I'll never need to buy another dado set again.I will need to provide a follow-up after some use.

I accidentally bought a 10 inch instead of an 8 inch. Prime Tools the company I bought this from was extremely helpful in getting the right one fixed for me with few questions asked. I really appreciate it. 5 Stars. If everyone did business like them the world would be a happier place.

Once installed worked great. It’s just a bit difficultGetting all the blades to align Correctly. Also need to wear some good gloves. This sucker is sharp. Maybe that just goes with all dado blades? Not sure. I find myself avoid using itBecause of the amount ofTime it takes to install. If I had two good tableSaws, maybe I’d have one with just the dado. Anyway - it cuts very well but is work when installing
