I’ve been looking for this size that will hold a small snack like a small scone or a couple of small cookies, as well as hold a roll by your dinner plate. The dark charcoal/black plates when used with white dinner plates and white table runner, really dress up a table. It’s difficult to find this size except for cheap white catering plates. I’ve looked for something this size that I liked for years, and have only found them at estate sales. I got like 20 Christmas theme, very sturdy at an estate sale, and a Madeleine plate that now costs over $80 each. I hate using an oversize salad plate for a couple cookies so these are fine for every day use when I bake a fresh batch of cookies and bring 1 or 2 warm cookies to my husband for snack. These plates are just special because, as I say, this size is just so hard to find.

There was a pin point of a white dot inside one of the smoke grey mug. Hopefully it’s not lead! Should have returned.

Overall the bowls do look nice but they are smaller than they appear. Would prefer if they were 12 inches wide instead of 9.

I was really excited to have these plates on our wedding registry. Very disappointed when they arrived however. Description says Charcoal but these are clearly black. First pic is the plate with a black napkin on our black table. Second pic is the plate featured on Amazon next to a black plate. Pretty different.

I was looking for a more homemade look, but the edges are exactly the same on each bowl so they lack that personality I wanted. Basic bowls, nothing fancy or a cut above. I like the stoneware feel of them.

I purchased the Fortessa Vitraluxe Dinnerware Heirloom Dinner Plate 10.75-Inch, in Matte Blush, Set of 4. They’re absolutely gorgeous! The color is beautiful, it’s not overly pink and has that elegant blush look that I adore. They’re heavy and just look like money.I’m not a “real adult” yet, as I don’t own a set of fine china. Nor do I care for the vast majority of the available China sets on Amazon. However, I feel that these plates are a good start. Note that I snagged these up as ‘Used Like New,’ so I only paid a fraction of the full price... But if I was going to shell out $55 for a set of 4 dinner plates, these would still be my 1st choice.I definitely plan on adding more of these blush beauties in order to build up an actual collection, in order to continue my pursuit of full fledged adulthood and all.BTW: These look stunning with rose gold and/or copper flatware! What a combination!
