Wow this little guy is magic. We have been in a massive heat wave and drought. Need rain so badly. Within 24hrs. of putting Lucky to work, he has accumulated 4" of rain in 12hrs. It's cute, it works, just buy it. 2 squirrels up 👍👍for sure😁

This is a very cool rain gauge. I got this for my mother on Mother’s Day and she love the squirrel. It’s very cute and it can sit on the porch instead of having to be staked to the ground or nailed.

Got this little squirrel rain guage a while back. So so cute setting out on the deck. No complaints about this little one! I wouldn't leave it out on strong windy or sevier stormy weather, just to be safe that it doesn't get knocked off something and break. It doesn't feel cheap, but under the right conditions I can see it getting broken falling off a deck rail or table. I have left it out during a bad storm and it stayed in place on my patio table. At one point during another bad storm the wind got very hard and it did tumble to the deck floor scaring the squirrels arm a little. But didn't chip or break. But to be fair, that wind was strong enough that my chairs were scattered as well! I'm happy with this sweet critter!

It's a really great rain gauge! It's really cute and looks good in a garden area. The tube is plastic so probably won't get hail damage (some i looked at were actual glass). It's a little smaller than I thought, but im pretty sure there are measurements in the description that I over looked. I bought a squirrel for my grandma and a froggy one for my mom. They loved them and it measures accurately! Would buy again!

This rain gauge is very cute. Even though it's resin, it's heavy enough that it won't be blown over by strong wind nor will it get crushed under the feet of my big dog. He doesn't think of it as a toy either. My only worry is the plastic gauge itself. I had one previously that cracked and broke when it fell over and I couldn't find just a replacement gauge. I had to buy the new holder too. Hopefully, it holds up to below zero temperatures that will be coming this winter!

Received as a gift but had to replace. Wind took it off the table. It is hollow inside and broke like thin china.When I read resin I thought it would be solid. No weight to it al all. Great idea, stupid design.
