Before I left on my trip I tested each lock to make sure I set the combination correctly and to make sure I could open them. They all worked fine then but after I arrived at my hotel and tried to open of the locks it wouldn’t budge. I ended up having to ask the front desk for something to cut it off with. Because of the language barrier they ended up giving me a pair of scissors which I thought definitely wouldn’t work because they were just regular scissors, the part that loops around looks like it’s a type of metal cord, and surely the lock needed something stronger to cut through it. The scissors cut thought it so easily and I’m saying this as someone who has ridiculously weak grip strength. The other three locks worked perfectly fine and I’m grateful it was so easy to open the broken lock but if you’re looking for something secure I’d go for a completely metal lock.

1 out of the 4 locks doesn't open with the original code provided by the manufacturer. I immediately contact Fosmon customer service through the link they provided in Amazon. It has been 4 business days with no response. I just tried emailing them again. Let's see what happens. I would like a replacement for the defective lock, but if they don't respond I will have to return the entire set of 4 :(The locks that do work seem fine. The cable is long enough for most luggage.Update: Customer Service responded and offered a refund. Good customer service!

My family travels a bunch and these luggage locks have given us all a huge peace of mind. They are easy to use ( when assigning your own code), very sturdy and super easy to lock. The only thing I wish was that the numbers were BIGGER, haha.. I wear reading glasses and the numbers are tiny.

Die Schlösser sind grundsätzlich in Ordnung und lassen sich gut bedienen.Aber... ich brauchte die Schlösser für die Reißverschlüsse diverser Taschen - leider sind die Kabelenden für die meisten normalen Reißverschlüsse zu dick, man bekommt sie dort nirgends durch. Außerdem sind die Schlösser für kleinere Taschen auch sehr groß, schwer und klobig.Deshalb habe ich sie zurückgeschickt und muss jetzt doch noch ein paar Abus 145/20 Bügelschlösser anschaffen. Die sind zwar teurer, aber dafür deutlich kleiner und leichter. Außerdem bekommt man deren schmale Bügel auch durch jeden normalen Reißverschluss.

I liked that this came in a quantity of four. I purchased these for a recent trip out of the country. They were surprisingly simple to program with One code for ALL four! Since the numbers are large I was able to lock and unlock with ease. The design with the bendable security cables allows use on any size luggage. Most locks are a pain to use, therefore I was hesitant to lock them when I left my hotel room. Now, since purchasing these locks, I can easily secure my belongings when left in my room!
