Some old Nikon F mount lenses can damage some new cameras. I use a gray rear cap to indicate that care should be taken as the lens mount has been modified and may not be completely within spec. I use orange as a caution sign to indicate that the lens is non-AI. Non-AI/pre-AI lenses can damage a newer camera's mount. Glad they make these as it helps mitigate costly mistakes.

Purchased this as a replacement for a lost rear lens cap. The price was a LOT less than a comparable one from the camera manufacturer, and the quality seems to be every bit as good. It fit on the rear of the lens and rotated into the locking position just fine. I like the yellow color, as it makes the lens more noticeable in the storage case.

This rear cap for Nikon F works great for my lenses, and I specially like the pink color. The only issue I have is that I ordered it with prime shipping expecting it to arrive within two days and it did not. I ordered two at the same time and want to rived around the estimated time, and one has not arrived yet. I'm very disappointed in that. But I would purchase again and I would recommend this product.

Does what it says on the tin. Comes in several colours so your lens stands out a country mile if you want it too. Lovely little engraved details as well.
