Purchased for a Lumix FZ300 to complete the environmental resistance. Works great, but how great does it have to be? Basically a piece of plastic to protect the hot shoe. That said, I feel it was worth the money and it clearly does the simple job it was intended to do very well.

I bought these for backup as such a small piece is real easy to lose and to cover the hotshot on my GX85, which had none. The cover fits the GX85 but sticks out beyond the camera frame. It does lock in place though.Expensive for such a small piece of stuff.

This is a tiny item that does its job. I don't use an external flash, and want my camera to not get dusty on the hot shoe, and also not short out with rain / water projections (the camera I have is decent in term of water and dust proof).This does it.I just wish it were cheaper.
