You have to slightly bend the tubes in order for it to fit correctly.

Fit my 2005 Honda civic lx. Came vacuum sealed, foam on ends and good condition. The end looks different than OEM for Honda, but slid in perfect. Had to fineness the expansion valve to it and engine end with some help, but other than that, car is blowing cold!

The evaporator is just like the factory one and comes with the foam tape for insulation and rattle prevention. When removing evap, always replace the expansion valve, as it is likely to fail more early than the evap and purchase that insulation foam that wraps the expansion valve. Tools you’ll need are ratchets (electric ones are preferred) various lengths of extensions, Philips screwdriver bit, 8mm and 20mm socket, and Allen wrench. Very tight spot to work under and hard to locate nuts. This evap requires a bit of bending to be parallel with the ac pipe mating surface with the expansion valve. The rotation is good. Another good advice is to pull out the evaporator temp sensor before installing. Upon installation it’s easy to smash it by accident when sliding in the evaporator core. The unit works well and as intended without issues.

This was not compatible with my car, despite the listing saying it was. The tubes came in contact with my expansion valve, forcing it to be at an angle. This made it so I could not connect it to the a/c lines on the other side, and was super frustrating figuring this out in the hot garage. Now I have to wait to get a new one that fits. (The pictures show my original one vs this one, the original has a gap between the expansion valve and the pipes)

Worked great for my 2005 Honda CR-V. Was a bear to get in/out and the blower is still missing a couple screws, but this product blows cold, which is all that matters. Have only had it for 6 months and 4 of those were during winter, so can't speak to longevity, but here's hoping!

Installed this along with all of the other parts except the pipes and tubes and works great so far. A/C is nice and cold.
