I use this level for machining and electrical paperwork. This is by far one of the best degree finders that I have ever used. It’s extremely heavy it doesn’t have the light illumination but besides that it will go to zero every time all the time it’s extremely accurate.

Great for checking pinion angles on rear differentials for drag cars and other applications where the pinion angle needs to be determined. Magnetic base really helps also. Great value for the price.

It was used to match the pinion angle on a rear differential to the transmission output shaft. Great tool for the job. Worked great.

This was purchased to replace a friends that I had borrowed (for over a year) and managed to break after a substantial drop (6-7 ft onto concrete floor). I bought a cheaper brand for myself to replace it and can sure tell..... This is a quality piece.

The meter slides around on pipe extremely easily, and the 35lb of holding for seems much weaker than claimed. The screen isn't easy to read unless from directly in front.

There are a lot of low cost "mini Protractors" or "angle finders" claiming 0.05 ° accuracy. This one delivers. Anything costing less than $50 is likely to have up to a full degree error from face to face. Fowler is the real deal. High quality at a very reasonable cost. Thank you Fowler!

Good tool, built much better than the average $30-40 ones I see. It actually has an aluminum case.

works great. I have compared it to my machinists levels which are of current calibration and this little jewel does the job for right small space applications

I've been using it in a harsh environment and it has held up well. It's been dropped on concrete a few times from table height and still works fine. It's not as sensitive as a bubble level for precise work but it's great for checking pinion angles and angles between features during welding and forming operations.
