These are the warmest socks ever. I have hypothyroidism so my feet get little circulation, thus get cold easily. My feet also sweat so it's a perfect storm of cold and wet. Popsicle toes to the max. Not with these mostly rage wool socks though. They're the ONLY solution in the winter!

Opening does not stretch. First pair fine. Next 6 ordered almost impossible to get over heel. Stretch neck with bolt cutter handles to widen opening

They are Fox River Ragg Wool Socks, and have been for decades. The same product. They have pros and cons. I bought these for years, for particular trips, and they are great. Not as durable as you would think. But still a great product!

These socks are real wool warm socks. I bought one pair to try. I do really like them and will probably get a couple more pairs. They are a little scratchy and quite thick, exactly what I like. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for real wool socks and who doesn’t mind that they are slightly scratchy.

Nothing to dislike on these. Wash them first before you wear if you like. I NEVER put them in the dryer. Air dry naturally after washing.

These are nice and thick and feel great - not plasticky like synthetic socks. They are pretty tall , would buy a shorter pair and in womens sizes, but the scrunched up look is cute with leggings and boots.

The warmth is amazing, but despite wearing for long periods, I'm not at all itching from these. Considering the temp is regularly getting -25 and lower, this is perfect for both day and wearing to bed, when I have a bed next to a window that leaks heat too much.

So happy to find these socks on Amazon. I have worn these in the winter for many years as they are thick, comfortable and keep my feet warm. They are difficult to find now so will order some more soon. One pair just won't be enough when the snow comes and the boots will be worn for several monthsWell made, and not tight on the top which is a real plus for me,Most highly recommended.

Thinner then wigwam socks. The hiking sock can come loose and slide down. If placed on top of long johns the sick stays in place
