Great fit and functionality. Very easy to install. They cut very clean. They are real durable. And the price is great

Got this to replace my rigid blades. Have run through several Wenge and Padauk boards and they seem to work very well on this very hard wood. (very small cut increments.) Only negative I would say are little tabs that are on both sides of the blades that are not on the originals. They still fit, but take away the ability to slightly wiggle it to one side or the other.

The blades seem sharp and accurately made except for their length. The blades were a 1/4 inch too long. I ground off the excess and everything seems fine now.

These arrived packed in a light coat of oil, inside a plastic envelope, inside a rectangular plastic sleeve: very well protected, and perfectly OK to sit on the shelf until needed. Changeout with my planer was easy, but I have a warning if you’ve never changed the knives: use a socket-set 4mm hardened head to loosen the bolts the first time. The tool that comes with this planer is a nice T-handle, but it is not as hard as a drill-driver tool (photo 3) and the sasquatches at the factory put some of those knife bolts on too tight. I actually stripped a bolt with the factory tool, and wound up getting a replacement planer (still in warranty).3 blades, each with 2 sides, so not only does this provided a much-needed blade change, but gets a 2nd change when you flip the blades down the road. There are plenty of instructional videos on how to do the blade change - it took me about 30 minutes, including marking the blades.I timed a 4-foot board I was planing: on my old (factory) blades, it took 45 seconds for a 1/32” pass. With new blades, same board, same depth, it was both much quieter and much faster at 22 seconds. Sharp blades make such a difference! And you don’t really know you need to change them until you time it, or notice nicks in the cut surface.

These planner blades were supposed to fit a Ridgid 1300LS. I have. 1300-1. I don't know if there's a difference in the two or if it's just an error in the sellers description. The rigid 1300-1 is one of their very first versions and that may be the difference. My planner uses two blades and this came with three blades. The blades seemed to be fairly lightweight, so I don't know how long they would last if they did fit. Unfortunately, I can't really say anything solid about them because they, like I said, they did not fit.

Blades have cutout at each end and are slightly longer than original however there is enough room in locating slots to compensate for extra length. Just install and go, results are same as when machine was new. Great price for M2 knives. Recommend buy
