Fun project. Doesn’t look much like the image on Amazon, but still turned out pretty.

Can’t wait to start!I enjoy cross stitch. I ordered this because I like its pattern. I’ve ordered several embroidery patterns through Vine lately that all looked like they were packaged by the same company despite having different sellers with different patterns options. I have been working on a different one for several weeks and enjoy it greatly.I’ve learned some things from the other set that I will share here on the basis that they apply to both. However, I have not had the time to confirm it yet with this set. First, the dimensions listed are those of the entire cloth, not just the area being embroidered. Keep this in mind if you plan to frame your completed project. Second, the 3ct strand will not completely cover the white cloth if you only knot one end behind. Having white cloth show will impact the appearance of the completed project. I knotted both ends together behind the cloth, trapping the needle, and got the coverage I wanted. However, this resulted in a shortage of embroidery floss, which meant I had to get supplemental floss. This was fine for me, since I’m paying for the pattern, stamping, and color guide more than the floss itself, but it adds nuisance, especially if I can’t find an exact match for every color. As a reminder, these things I learned from another set that looks like it was packaged by the same company despite having a different seller, and they may not apply to this particular kit. I will update when I learn more.Still, it is a lovely set. The needles are just dull enough to prevent accidental piercing of the skin under most circumstances and just sharp enough to go through the embroidery mat, which is fairly stiff. You will not need embroidery hoops anywhere in the process. The floss is stored in a way that makes it easy to remove one strand at a time and prevent tangling.

This pattern is very detailed but worth the effort. The end result is stunning! The edges do fray. As you can see, I’ve had to border with masking tape.I’ve also run out of several colors of floss and have an abundance of others. Not a huge deal as it’s easy and cheap to go to the local craft store and buy extra.Over all very happy with this project!
