The quality is great and the balls are SO gorgeous but the box comes in this solid green color. The photos all over the web and on all other retailers websites have the same rustic blueish tanish box. But I have read reviews from people saying they got the same box. Some people will sand it down and fix it but that’s too much for me. At such a high price point and with the amount of photos on the web and retailers selling this…you would think the carrying box would come exactly as advertised.

I bought this to take on holiday. The whole set weighs just over 8kg. A significant dent in your luggage allowance. I returned them and got a plastic set that weigh about 3.5kg.This is a nice set, but not for air travel.

So far so good! Franklin has out done themselves! They have quality balls, bag, and easy tournament instructions. Their balls are heavy but its prefect for that authentic Bocce ball tournament. If you are looking for a Bocce Ball set, look no further! I am so happy!

Bocce ball is so simple and so fun. If you have not played, this set is a great set for casual back yard players. I've played with higher quality sets before (basically just bigger and heavier balls), but this is what I have at home and it is perfect. It by no means feels cheap, but it really kinda is at ~$25.Also +1 for the customer service. When I received my set I had an extra yellow ball in place of a blue ball. I had a brief phone call, sent a picture of my received set and my amazon receipt.. Voila! Had a new one in the mail right away.

My sister bought this set from a local store a couple years ago and I’ve wanted one since. When I saw it on amazon for this price I had to get it. I waited until moving to CO to buy it but it was worth the wait and it has been a great game to play at local parks with my just me and my bf or larger groups. I would absolutely recommend buying this set and playing outside of a flat setup course; playing on uneven terrain adds an extra element of difficulty and competitiveness.

Having never purchased a bocce ball set in the past, I purchased this purely on brand recognition and price.The item arrived as expected, well packed in the carrying case. At first glance the balls seemed plastic and cheap; not really what I was hoping for.We went ahead and gave the set a try and were unhappy. The balls didn’t only look cheap, but they also got scratched and dinged up after only playing two rounds of bocce.The balls are also very light, which is difficult to get used to if you’ve played bocce with a higher-quality set in the past.We ended up returning this set and purchasing a slightly more expensive set that aligned more with our expectations.

This has been one of my favorite games for so long! We took it on a family camping trip and it was a huge hit with all ages. Although it was more fun with just the adults, it was fun to watch the kids play and aim and get their balls so closely to the mark! The balls are really solid, great weight. They did get scratched up a little but that's because of all the rocks around since we were camping in the desert. If you want to keep them really nice, stick to playing in the yard. Super fun! Would definitely recommend! Oh and the carrying case is Awesome!

I've never played Bocce before so have no experience from which to rate this set relative to other Bocce balls, however, so far the balls have held up fine and the game is fun to play.The one drawback is the bag - it is thin material and as I expected it ripped quickly while carrying the set the first time.The full 5 stars is for the Bocce balls themselves as the bag, while it would be nice for a higher quality bag, I wouldn't want to pay much more for it since I have plenty of heavy duty bags and I just grabbed one of them for the set.For other folks who may not have heavy duty bags around, and if you are new to this game, note that the balls are fairly heavy, particularly when you have all of them together so you will likely want to get a better quality bag to carry them in long term.
