Each leg is attached with 2 screws. Getting everything lined up while starting the screws was a bit of a hassle. There is a risk of starting them cross threaded, which becomes disastrous if followed by forceful wrenching. Not a big deal with patience and care.The screws should be tightened after some use. Mine took another 1/4 turn each.

I got a viral TikTok chair and it had no wheels which made me nuts. Used a rubber mallet to pop the base from the extension and popped right it. Easy peasy. Totally recommend
