The good: well made and does what it's supposed to. Easy to fit.The bad: the magnetic system means that it's not securely attached to the camera. If they are used directly onto the camera they will fall off easily. I would recommend using these with the magnetic protective case. The filter and camera fit inside the case but the camera sticks out just a little bit. It's secure and the top button works as it should but you will loose functionality of the camera/battery module as the contacts inside the case don't line up with the camera. I haven't tested with any other cases.

The lens itself is fine, but the physical mounting design is inadequate. It may work fine on the bare camera, but when the DJI-recommended magnetic protective case is installed, the magnets on the lens are too weak to hold it securely to the camera. If the lens is installed inside the DJI-recommended magnetic protective case, the camera sticks out the back of the case, the lens is difficult to turn, and there is mismatch in alignment with an attached dual display or battery module that will not allow it to connect. I would only recommend getting this if you plan to use the Action 2 camera by itself (with no other module attached) and without the magnetic protective case. But in this case, you will also have to accept more susceptibility to overheating, less physical protection of the camera afforded by the case, and no dual display or external battery or external memory card.Update: Raised my rating from two stars to three, as I have devised a solution that works better than relying on the magnetic mount: Get a second magnetic protective case for the camera (they are inexpensive) and (use epoxy or similar to) glue the lens to the outside of the protective case. Then you can swap the camera into either the standard case with no lens or the case with the permanently-mounted lens, depending on whether you want to use the lens or not. It's not quite as convenient as it would have been with a stronger magnet mount, but this way you won't lose or damage your lens as easily. Note also that since the magnetic protective cases come with both a camera case and a module case, you can use the module case for a second battery module (or dual camera module).

Easily loses this or comes off with a slight nudge. Does NOT stay with the camera securely and tends to move around or just falls off unnoticeably.

I really like Freewell's filtering function. Another review says the Freewell "fits inside the over heating protection cover from DJI" and it does. Be aware with filter inside, your contact points between camera and base battery no longer line up, and you cannot charge the camera without first removing the filter. The solution would be for Freewell to put stronger magnets that allowed the filter to be on the outside of the protective cover and remain secure. I will use as is and hopefully not knock it off!

Freewell makes some great glass at good prices. Best bang for your buck IMO. My only gripe with this set is the case. The filters aren’t that easy to get in and out. I also feel like the standard square plastic case could’ve been a lot smaller (perhaps like the DJI brand case for the original Osmo Action filters). Other than that, they work great.

Was will man sagen...Top Verarbeitung, keinerlei Auffälligkeiten bei der Bildqualität, die Magnete halten super und sie sitzen zu 100% perfekt auf der Kamera und der CPL Filter lässt sich sowas von butterweich drehen!Einzige "negative" Punkt wäre evtl. das case in dem sich die Filter befinden.Darin sitzen sie sehr fest, man berührt ständig die Oberfläche mit den Fingern und verschmutzt sie am Rand.Ist am Ende aber auch egal. Man kann die Filter einfach magnetisch übereinander stapeln und so auch kompakter und besser verstauen.
