Definitely adds a cinema like mist to footage- I use it on an iPhone with the other freewell products and work really well - I think it’s good value and you can quickly change out filters

Really like the quality of construction and the job that it does. If there’s a shortcoming, it is that while there is a cap to put over the lens when you’re just carrying it around, it’s too big to put in the pocket. It sticks on magnetically and does so with a square shape. That makes a polarizer easy to turn. the polarizing filter is big enough to cover all the lenses. I keep it in the car all the time.

I took photos on iPhone 15 Pro Max with VND 1-5. I could see discoloration and slightly darkened in the middle of the photo. It’s like it is part of the transition where the 2 lens meet or overlapped. It is more obvious when shot in 0.5x camera lens.I tried to take photos with VND setting 4.5 and it improved. I’m wondering if it’s defective?

That may seem like a quibble but if you want the use the MagSafe on the back of the Freewell case - good luck! I can’t imagine for the life of me why this pair of magnetic variable NDs (1-5 and 6-9) arent the same diameter. But they aren’t. The 1-5 VND fits great and both NDs are color matched perfectly. Sadly, in the case “size matters” and “bigger ain’t better.”

I really love the ease of use with the magnetic mounting system with the case. It makes installing and removing the filter extremely easy. The filter itself is high quality but I do notice a slight color shift high end. It reduces plenty of light to be able to use the 180 degree shutter rule in bright sunlight. Overall it is a good filter and worth the money.

It's perfect for the iphone 15 pro max. The case you have to buy is the way it attaches and it's super simple to do. It just snaps on and is really snug. The variable ND is really great b/c you don't have to change out filters if the environment changes. The iphone has big time issues with brightness on the BlackMagic app or the phone app and this completely fixes it. Worth every penny.

I purchased this filter in conjunction to their IPhone 14 case for a trip to Europe. After a couple uses, one of the screws fell out. Since the base of the filter is magnetic, I did not lose the screw. I stored the tiny screw and put the filter in it’s case, stored in my backpack. A couple days later, when I tried to use it again, all screws were out. Apparently they were all loose and backed out due to movement in my backpack. You would think that the company would tighten the screws! Now, one week into my trip, I have a useless filter in my backpack… such a shame.

Lo he estado pensando mucho, pero al final compré el pack completo de Freewell. La calidad del filtro es muy alto, y sobre todo, los resultados. Súper profesionales para fotos y vídeos.No puedo ponerlos porque son trabajos para clientes, pero os aseguro que merece la pena.Todo hecho con iPhone 13 Pro Max.
