This is the second window regulator I've replaced on a 2005 Town and Country, I did one about 5 years ago on our previous van. Even having done this before, it still took about 3 hours. I went slow as to cause minimum damage to the water shield that is glued to the door.Something that made this one difficult to do was the fact that the old motor was seized in place with the window in the closed position. That made it very difficult to reach the bolts for the clamps that pinch the window in place. I ended up using my bolt cutters to cut the cable so the window would come down and allow me access to those bolts.Do yourself a favor and watch a couple of YouTube videos on this job before you do it.I used suction cups to hold the window up after I loosened the clamps so the window wouldn't fall down. One thing that confused me and almost had me convinced that I had the wrong part is the way it was packaged, probably to reduce space. It is packaged to look like the photos above, which is not the way it goes in. You need to twist it around a little to get it facing the right way. Once I did that, the installation wasn't too bad. The unit was flexible enough and seemed to have sturdy cables. It also comes with its own hardware, so you don't have to reuse the old screws. I would have liked if it had at least one page of instructions or at least a graphic showing how to install it. Again, make sure you watch YouTube videos.Once installed, the operation was very smooth. I'm very happy with this unit and hope to never have to do this job again!
