Would be great, IF you could actually replace the springs on a Razor (mx650)- as far as I can tell, they are no longer replaceable as the screw head at the bottom of the tube appears to be made of alluminum or a very soft metal - even went down to check with a scope. Despite what you might research, these are not 5mm. They appear to be 1/4 hex, close to a metric 6mm. However they'll strip so easily, you can't remove them (this is from a tool guy - can't be done). My Razor is about two years old with only a couple hours on it - don't know if it's a 'newer' version or an 'older' version, but it's not replaceable. So, this spring upgrade kit is useless, based on my experience, but looks ok if you could replace them. I also note that the screw heads on this replacement package are 6mm, and steal, unlike the ones at the bottom of the razer shock tubes. Wonder if they made that change on purpose...

This spring is entirely too big for the forks on the mx650. I ended up having to buy some steel spacers to hold the forks in far enough to make it rideable. This compressed the springs enough to severely limit the travel of the suspension and it is so stiff now. Disappointed with this purchase. I wouldn’t recommend for use with razor dirt bikes.

You need a long bit driver and 5mm bit to take off the stock 5mm hex boltsI used a 12in extensionNew bolts are 6mm hexSuspension doesn’t bottom out anymore and feels solid on the mx650, for 30 bones I recommend this kit!

Fun upgrade for my mx650 razor. Made it higher for me (38 year old). My 13 year old hates it though, but she has her own mx650 and this one is mine, I’m very happy I did this. YouTube has a video on how to do it.

Added stiffer springs on stock forks for better ride for adults. Also added fork boots to help ease dust accumulation. Only time will tell if they last.

Spring diameter is larger than stock, so the spring does not fit inside the Plastic Spacer that centers the fork Tube on the opposite side. Also spring rate is ok for teenager or adult but way to stiff for a child. These springs paired well with a 165mm rear shock that raised the MS650 by just under 3.5 inches & gave the bike a real dirt bike stance & more usable wheel travel.

great for just raising the suspension but definitely recommend getting some nice 3d printed bushings to avoid a bunch of play when hitting bumps.
