Material feels nice. But it already ripped for no reason at all really. Very light use and it ripped. I may get 1 year out of it. The product came missing a hook but all I did was call them up. Which they made very easy btw. After letting them know what happened they sent over a replacement hook right away! Great support!

This is a well made, sturdy cover. It fits our 2010 Ford Ranger very well and keeps the windshield, windows and mirrors frost free.

We were extremely optimistic about this product as we have had a different model of this brand in the past. Only replacing this model because the plastic rods snapped after three years of use. This product did not come with the plastic rods a former model had, making installing/utilizing them with the former model much easier. The model we purchased is quite cumbersome. The material is high quality but large and flops in the wind. It took me a few minutes to install and alone it was not fun. I kept having to run from one side of the car to the other to attempt to install it. The mirror strap was confusing and the frostguard was not wide enough to cover both my mirrors as your video tutorial suggests.I was extremely excited to see a model that covered the front door windows and the sunroof. But was quickly disappointed due to the lack of ease of use. Additionally, I would like to comment on folding it to put back in the cute little storage pouch. I had to bring it inside and lay it out on the living room floor to fold to fit in the storage pouch. This would not have been practical for everyday use. Please keep trying to innovate! You do have great products. This was a miss for us.

This is a well-made product, and it is just as they describe it, but they neglect to mention a couple of things. The elastic straps connecting the hooks and the cover is pretty flimsy material. I don't know that it'd tear if strained too hard, but it feels like it will. The other drawback is that, once they get wet, which doesn't take much because it's so thin, and freezes there is no stretch left in the straps until they thaw out, making it a bit tough to get them unhooked if they're close to the end of their stretch. They are pretty limp anyway, and they don't do an adequate job of pinning down the cover in any sort of wind. They don't mention gaps in the coverage, I suppose because you're supposed to figure this out for yourself. The cover is big enough to cover a fair amount of the moon roof, but to do it has to go over the ends of the roof rack. This leaves a gap where a good breeze coming from the rear of the car can blow underneath and lift the cover. Of course that gap will be there whether or not you have a moon roof and if you do have a roof rack.On my car, I can't get the cover far enough forward to cover the wipers if I put the elastic loops over the side mirrors. My workaround is to push the mirrors in, forget about the loops, and hope that I can get enough tension in the straps and hooks to keep the sides from blowing up in a good wind. So far successful. It is not too difficult to fold, but unless you live to be 100, you will never get it back down to the size and shape it comes in. Nor will you escape with dry clothes if it's wet or full of snow. In that case, you probably don't want to put it back in the bag, so it'll be kicking around the back of your car until you take care of it - and it is definitely big enough to make it a challenge to hang it up to dry.One thing sellers don't mention about these covers is that they don't save you from scraping the whole rest of the car, so you have to wonder if they're worth their cost. In a recent large, heavy, wet snow which then froze, I had to clean the whole car off before I could even take the cover off! When full of heavy wet frozen snow, that was very difficult to do. The windshield underneath was not bad at all! There is a lot of real estate in this cover. I have a '23 Forester and the cover has no problem covering that huge windshield, some of the moon roof, and over the windshield wipers and their nesting place. The color coding so you can tell the front is very useful, unless you figure out exactly how to fold and unfold it on the car so it will end up in the right place. Fortunately you don't have to.The outside of the cover is a hefty woven nylon, and the inside is slick plastic, reasonably heavy duty. I have zero concern about their longevity. But if snow or sleet or freezing rain is in the forecast, you might want to consider putting it on inside out, so the frozen stuff will slide off the slick plastic easily. However, if some gets underneath in the aforementioned gaps, the textured woven material is more likely to freeze to the car.A good question to ask yourself is whether it's worth it for only a cleanish windshield (you WILL get some snow on it) to go through the hassles of putting the cover on and taking it off, and dealing with a large, sloppy, wet, awkward cover. After having used this for several episodes of bad weather including a lot of snow, I'm not at all sure I'd come down with a yes on that question.

I live in Colorado and we get a lot of snow and frost from Oct. thru first week or two of May. I have to park my car outside at work. I am so thankful for this FrostGuard. I have the one for windshield and back window on my SUV. Quick to put on and take off and I'm not scraping windows in the cold. Love FrostGuard.

I've had several windshield covers over the years. All had to be "attached" to the vehicle by securing flaps inside the vehicle. So installing/removing this type of cover meant opening/close doors. It also created an avenue for moisture to wick its way inside the vehicle. Not good for those times when the temperature fluctuated above and below the freezing point. This windshield cover is great. Raise the wipers. Align it it on the windshield. Lower the wipers so it's secure. Then attach the four hooks to each wheel cover. A separate dongle is attached if you want to "secure" the cover with a back door. (But if someone wants to steal this cover, the dongle is useless.)Removal is just as easy. Remove the four hooks from your wheels. Peel the cover off your windshield to contain any snow or ice. Give it a good shake. Then make a feeble attempt to fold it up before tossing in the trunk of your vehicle, or the footwell in the back seat. Yeah, it needs to be dry to fold properly, but it will never fit in its travel bag ever again. Trust me on this.A big bonus is this cover covers the side mirrors and side windows (driver and passenger, saving you lots of scraping time. An attached elastic band can co around each side mirror, but not always necessary. Your call. The fabric is a woven nylon with decent denier, backed by a tighter weave moisture barrier. The edges are properly seamed. I suspect over time the elastic bands stretching to your wheels (wheel hooks) will lose strength over time. It wouldn't be difficult to eventually replace them with a heavy duty nylon straps if so inclined.Five stars.
