Comes with a printed piece of fabric, plenty of thread of different colors, needles, wooden hoop, and instructions on how to complete. This is a nice kit to give yourself or someone else an opportunity to try at embroidery. It's a nice, easy image to work with. It's got pretty colors to make the butterfly pop. And it looks nice when completed. This is a fun project and it would make for a nice gift as well.

As far as a starter set goes for a beginner in embroidery, this isn't the best set to get. The embroidery kit does come with the patters, 2 needles, and ample amounts of thread. However, the instructions aren't the best. I am assuming they were translated into english. The thread too isn't the best. The thread is thick so it's hard to thread through the needle and it frays pretty easily. the hoop holding the canvas with the pattern also seems super fragile. If you do get this embroidery starter kit, then I would at least invest in better thread.
