This is perfect replacement item for novice to seasoned DIY fixes on the MAVIC Pro. 15-20 minutes and I had replaced the gimbal. It was nice not having to deal with the gimbal ribbon for a change due to the complexity and finesse needed Once installed I had to download DJI assistant to upgrade the software due to IMU and compass errors but once done my drone was 100%. the test flights were flawless. Buying the entire gimbal assembly was still less expensive that sending it to a DJI approved repair shop to do the work. Make sure you have the correct tools.

Bought my mavic pro on ebay i knew I would at the very least had to replace the ribbon cable which ended up not working so i switched out the video cable(still didnt work) finally decided to pull the trigger and get a whole new gimbal turns out to be the best decision i made. As soon as i turned on the drone everything started working again. Only took me less than 7 minutes to install. Thanks!

I appreciate the seller stocking this genuine DJI gimbal and camera and getting it to me quickly. Replacing the whole gimbal assembly is one of the easier repairs to make on a Mavic Pro or Platinum, if you've got the right part, and this is the right part. It does require removing the top shell, removing a few screws, and the connectors are some of the smallest I've seen, but they do snick right into place with the right part if I'm very careful and work under a magnifier. Thankfully, it doesn't require soldering.

I ordered this part to fix my DJI Mavic Pro and it worked perfect. The replacement was intense just due to the precision, but this part was definitely worth the purchase. Made the replacement easy and quick, took me less than 30 minutes.

Replaced a motor overloaded gimbal/camera assembly. Much easier to replace the whole unit than to replace the ribbon cable in the hope it would resolve the motor overload. Cost is considerably higher but as they say time is money!!! Very well packaged.

I was on the fence of giving this five stars because I’m pretty sure the gimbal I received wasn’t new. There were old cut pieces of glue on two of the ribbon cable connection points, which makes me believe the one I got is a refurb or just taken out of another Mavic. Regardless, after two flights it seems to work great and definitely cheaper than sending it in for repair. Hopefully it lasts a while.

UPDATE: The gimbal has gone crazy (I thought the drone was falling out of the sky for sec) twice. It happens during flight, flipping back and forth. I do a gimbal auto-calibrate and then it's fine. It has only happened twice. I'm keeping my 5-star review up though, because I'm not entirely convinced that the camera is at fault. Mavics are incredibly buggy to begin (just bought a Phantom 4 Pro that came with a bad charger), always needing to adjust this or that, update firmware, or whatever. It appears to be a genuine DJI part anyway.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I half-expected this to be some cheap knock-off, but by all appearances it's genuine DJI. It comes in a package with the DJI logo and also little DJI stickers on the camera itself. There is an awesome how-to video on youtube (you'll find it) and though it was intimidating to start unscrewing things and disconnecting connectors, it really wasn't that bad. It probably took me about 20 minutes and I was really careful and thorough. I just took it out for the maiden flight and camera operates fine. I'll update if it starts having problems or if the quality is lower, but all-in-all, I'm glad that I tackled this project instead of sending it in to DJI. Plus, now I feel confident enough in further repairs, which makes me have a little more fun with the drone, knowing that I could probably fix most things.
