Consistency in leveling your rifle is important for longer range accuracy. This bubble level will help prevent you from canting your rifle for better accuracy. Easy to mount up - I used my reticle to help level it with the scope.

Scope level came in a regular padded amazon envelope inside a zip lock baggy with included allen wrench. It arrived with no blemishes or tooling mishaps that is often seen on lower end items. The finish is a satin black with no gaudy emblems or writing that is often emblazoned on the name brand products. The size (34mm) fit perfect on my Vortex Strike Eagle and have no worries of it marring the finish on scope. So far it seems unaffected by recoil from the 6.5CM with no bubble separation or foaming. Only thing that I would suggest for improvement would be adding a little bit of the dry thread locker on the screws from the factory. That would make it truly plug-n-play since a loss of level on range day is less than ideal in long range work.I believe it is a good value for a 34mm since 30mm and above in anything starts getting expensive exponentially!

This is a fantastic scope level given the price point. Sure, you could pay a lot more for a somewhat more durable product with lifetime customer service in case you break it, but not everything needs all that.If you've got a gun that's going to be primarily used at the range or target shooting this is a great option that works well and won't break the bank. If you're doing something with your gun that's hard use, it may be worth it to buy a more premium product.I notice a few reviews indicating that this is for use mounting the scope. It's not. This is an anti-cant level to ensure your gun isn't tilted to the side. It's important to have your rifle/scope as level as possible when taking a shot, if it's canted to the side, your scope reticle goes diagonal and your accuracy will suffer. The farther you're shooting the more important this becomes.

I bought this to see if I wanted to use a level on my scope.Didn’t want to commit to the more expensive name brands so this was a proof of concept for me and I like it!Not in a hurry to replace it as it is pretty nice.

My headline is the review. I have other FSI stuff and already knew it would be solid and be what it was supposed to be for a good price. I was a little concerned about the finish. Not that it would be bad, but I wanted it to match the scope I was putting it on. It does, and does the job while being kind of tiny for one of these. Very satisfied.P.S. Nice touch: The fastener opposite the sight glass faces up. Makes it much easier to put the final cinch-down while mounting. Many of these have both fasteners facing down. I know why the one under the sight glass has to, but both? I assume that is a cost-cutting step by reducing parts manipulation to cut both sets of threads into the one side, but it makes installing a pain. Ty FSI.
