Well designed and built. Very sharp and easy to use. Thorough job. Mandoline blade is thin cut and not adjustable thicknesses. Multiple blade choices are nice.

Great for chopping vegetables for soups.I cant be bothered cutting vegetables for soups or onions. This device is great - place the veg on to the device and push down and they are chopped quickly and into a box.It is very easy to clean although you need to be careful with the chopping blades because they are so sharp. I wash in a dishwasher but you do need to make sure there isnt any residual pieces on firstly stuck in the blade.I have used a number of times and like the ease of use and speed I can cut up vegetables.

Use a couple times a week to chop potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and tofu. Annoying because I wash and dry it, put it away, only to need it right back out again. It's so good we can't stop using it I mean to say. I only use the two square blade blocks, small and larger. Cannot speak to any other features. I do wish the lid clamped down somehow because it flops off if I'm moving too fast, which is fixed by not moving too fast. Blades are SHARP so be mindful and focused. Easy to clean and seems durable enough - I've already gotten good use out of it in the six-ish months I've had it. Has made a nice gift a couple times too.

This is really good when you need to chop onions and a lot of different things. It’s fast and convenient. I would recommend it. With potatoes it’s a bit hard if potatoes are cold .. you can slice potatoes on it also.. because the potato was cold. I did some with the machine and some by hand… I had someone ask me a question about potatoes and I don’t wanna give the wrong information.. so I hope this helps.Thank you

I'm a newer plant based eater and meal pepper (10 months), but the amount of work it takes is dreadful. I didn't have high hopes for this gadget but figured it was worth a shot. I have ADHD so I'm easily scattered and have little patience. This did have a little bit of a learning curve but it truly has made my life so much easier. (If I didn't tell myself it has to be washed between every different food item, it'd be even easier!) I've been able to more easily batch prep veggies to be ready to cook for various meals throughout the week (onions, cabbage, zucchini, potatoes, bell peppers), make big pots of soups, incorporate apples into oatmeal, and more. I have high hopes that this will enable me to incorporate more variety of plants and encourage me to be more adventurous in my recipe choices.The removable plate at the top with the push out makes cleaning much easier as does the removable blade pieces. It is sharp and surprisingly the whole gadget is strong. Unbelievably i haven't cut myself yet.I have another mandolin/slicer I like a little better but it's a good backup and has more options than my other one should I ever want to shred or julienne.

I HATE cutting onions. I am so sensitive to it and unfortunately I love onions so much and they are in almost all of my recipes. My husband usually gets stuck on onion duty and I have to leave the kitchen until he is done or else I get horrible headaches and cry like a baby. Enter this awesome gadget. Not only does it make the time spent around cutting onions much quicker but I actually find because it is a quicker process I don't get nearly as bad a reaction.I love the mandolin slicer for things like potato au gratin, homemade potato chips, sliced carrots, cucumber etc... The slices come out so much more uniform than if I was using a knife and it is done in a lot less time too.My biggest complaint is clean up, especially the chopper. The black top gets food particles in the square grid as does the metal grate. It can be daunting to clean out each square and try to get things like tomato skin off of it. It did come with a small brush to get into the grooves but be careful which way you put the brush in on the metal grid as it has cut the bristles off.Also as a warning ALWAYS use the glove when slicing!!! These blades are SHARP!!! I am actually planning to purchase a few extra gloves to have on hand so that if things get dirty I can continue prepping without worry about cleaning half way through.The added storage holder is nice however I can never seem to get everything to fit on there properly. I don't know if I have it configured wrong or what, but I always seem to have an extra piece that has nowhere to go.Is this item perfect? No not by a long shot, however with how much prep time it saves, the uniformity of the cuts and the versatility of it I 100% recommend buying it. The good definitely outweighs the bad on this one.
