I was very pleasantly surprised by how heavy duty these furniture dollies are; however, I would not trust them at the stated capacity due to the size of the casters. The plates are very substantial steel, very strong and with an anti-slip pad on the top. The removable rails are great, I once moved a pretty awkward item with some much cheaper dollies and struggled to get them placed where these would have been simple. The included lifting bar is rather light duty, good for maybe a couple hundred pounds at most.I looked at the specs for a few 1.5 inch casters on Amazon. The highest I could find was 300 lbs for four casters, or 75 lbs each. With five casters per dolly, that would be about 375 lbs max or around 1500 lbs for all four dollies. Realistically, if I were moving something that heavy, I’d want to be using a different method than these anyhow, so I’m not taking any stars off this product.

I was pleasantly surprised at the weight of the box. Upon opening, everything was packaged well. The dollies are each topped with a nice felt material, and then you get the metal pieces to create the "curb" on top of each dolly if needed. There are included instructions on how to install the curbs. The dollies seem extremely heavy duty and solid. The casters also seem very solid and smooth. I appreciate the addition of the brake on the casters. The lifter tool is actually a cool addition. I have an extremely heavy vintage kitchen island with a walnut butcher block top - its is very heavy. And I dread the thought of moving it (we are getting ready to move). But I was able to use the lifter tool in combination with some of the little wedges to get the tool to the correct height. I slid the dollies under the legs and now I can move it around with ease!! After the move, I plan to use these in a more permanent role in the garage for my bandsaw to make it easier to roll in and out of place. I am very pleased with these dollies. The included bag is a nice tough (it is pretty light duty and not sure how long it would hold up if you are constantly using it and moving it around - but for basic storage it will suffice). Each dolly also include a hook if you want to hang it on the wall for storage. I would highly recommend this set!

First, I have to admit the individual dolly seem to be well made. The wheels roll and swivel very smoothly. I haven’t tried moving something really heavy, but I did try it on a small couch section. The guard rails are a nice touch as well. Easy to install the rails and you don’t need to install all 4 sides.The poor-quality control as to do with the other accessories. I got a total of 9 guard rails of one type and only 8 of the other type. It was nice that they provided an extra because one of them was slightly bent. Unfortunately, the type where I got 8, had one piece that was bent up really bad. If they had provided an extra, or if one wasn’t all bent out of shape, this would not have been a problem. It is not worth checking warranty since I may not really need that last guard rail or I can try to bend it back into shape.The joining section of the crowbar doesn’t go all the way in. It leaves a gap and I’m afraid it will bend or break easily if you try to lift something really heavy. It is still nice that these come with something like that to assist and aid with the lifting. The instruction card I got appears to be for another brand or set. It has a picture of a bag that’s not like the cheap bag that came with it. It also mentions 1 elastic cord that did not come with this set. Not a big deal since these are not mentioned in the descriptions of the product on Amazon. I think these are a good idea and I believe they will help with moving our piano in the future. I just wish the quality control was a bit better.
