My blower motor went out after 5 months. The furrion company that my unit was bought from was an aftermarket seller so lippert the company that bought furrion out will not honor the original warranty

I need to replace my Gerard tankless water heater as it wasn’t holding a constant temp. This Furrion fit perfectly into the same location, the fittings fit easily and was a dream to hook up. I watched a couple of YouTube videos for both installing the Furrion and the Gerard, which really was helpful. The Furrion works great, heats water quickly, holds the temp, and I couldn’t be happier.

I have had this unit now for a couple months and it has worked flawlessly, even through 11 degree days, it has not froze up or had any issues. And the quality is High on this unit, from the unit its self to the controller that you mount on the wall. I do recommend when buying this Furrion tankless HWH, make sure your pay attention to the size door you are replacing & selecting when purchasing , like in my case i replaced a 10gal Atwood HWH and i had to get the 18x18 door. It does come with it, but it gives you other size options. Another thing was it took 6 to 8hrs to install this thing!! Thats removing the old and installing the new. It doesn't just slip in the existing hole, you need to build a square box from pressure treated lumber for it to mount to because the New HWH is smaller then the existing hole, by like 4inches or so. I also had to order a little PEX pipe and Butyl tape for the install. I After the install, i turn it on and it keep showing a E1 (error) code. That meant the propane pressure regulator was not giving the correct gas pressure. So after ordering and installing a new Propane gas regulator,(59$) for a dual, the Furrion Tankless HWH has been 100% GREAT! What a MUST HAVE UPGRADE for full-timing Its been the best upgrade we have done in over 3 years of full-timing. Yes its a little more money, but worth it because you get what you pay for in the end and the cheaper units have given many people problems.=No Thanks... We now enjoy 30 minute showers on the regular., and can go a hour easily if we want to :-) And by the way we have used half the propane that our 10gallon Atwood was using. Now a #40lbs tank gets us about 2 months. So thats a little bonus you get with this unit, because every little bit saved helps in todays economy.2 Thumbs up, & 5 Stars given!

Installation can be tricky. It took 3 trips to the hardware store. None of the plumbing lined up. Get a professional to install unless you are handy with plumbing.Besides installation this heater is worth every penny. I love it. Works great every time. Not one glitch. It uses much less propane, half of what I was using. Much quieter also. Old heater would wake me up. Temp control is right on the money. I just set it and use strait hot water. Turn it up for doing dishes. Worth every dime.

We purchased this as a replacement as the one we had did not make it through the winter. I thought I had blown all of the water out to only find out I was not correct and the internal piping had burst. Next year I will go ahead an add RV antifreeze which was listed as optional to do. We have always enjoyed the on demand hot water and have had no problems other then not winterizing it with antifreeze. Being it was a replacement it was a quick removal and installation of the new hot water heater. It has worked like champ. It is one of our most favorite features of our 5th wheel, not having to worry about running out of hot water while taking a shower. Set the temperature and you can enjoy a steady, constant flow of hot water. I would never want a different hot water heater again as all of our previous ones have been the six gallon standard where you either had to go as fast as you could or stop the flow between soaping up and rinsing off. No fun or relaxing.

It works well and was relatively easy to install. Takes a minute or two for the hot water to reach the tap, but that is to be expected

Got this unit to replace current 6 gallon suburban water heater.Typical story: full timer, got tired of 5 minute hot water limits.I did months of research, tough decision between Girard and furrion. Furrion won this tie with its more modernized panel and mechanics. Now one month in, here's my review:Install was straightforward, aware I needed to resize the length and depth of my water lines, I was already equipped with a pex cutter and crimper, which will be required if like my palomino, was hard lined to the tank of the old heater. Be sure to drain the low points and shutoff water supply for less water cleanup. mine also required some pex to 1/2" npt fittings to adapt to the furrion unit.My old unit had a 3 wire 12v power source, assuming one was a signal for the dsi fault indicator, I probed for my switched power and ground from the old unit. Power was now supplied and I decided a short run of speaker pair wire would be sufficient to extend the minimally supplied signal wire for the remote unit to the outside panel of the utility cabinet/pantry.I then proceeded to power the unit on with water supplied, and set it to max temp(124°) and turned on the kitchen faucet.Within 10 seconds I had warm water, by 20 it was hot enough to impress me. I decided to settle on 122° as the incoming water temperature is close to 40°, and the first start of the morning for a shower does take about 45-60 seconds to stabilize. Not to be mistaken, the water is hot at 20 seconds but the addition of the cold valve water supply drops the water temp significantly at first, then rises.I have tested the system by showering a typical length as I would in a house with a residential heater. I have also ran it on direct hot for the time it takes to fill a 36 gallon holding tank with just hot water. The system maintained the set temperature within 1 minute of activation throughout the duration if both tests. It has the typical: if you pause flow, then resume you'll get a second of colder water than you expect. But otherwise I have no complaints so far.Propane use seems significantly lower despite the extended testing versus the 6 gallon tank unit.My unit was tested at 60psi of head pressure, easily at 2.5gpm flow, through a kdp whole house filter at 1 micron, with the flow valve left on factory setting(MAX)My door came white, I used krylon quick dry enamel using multiple light coats for the door and frame which were painted apart.Butyl tape, dicor sealant, some pex line fittings crimpers and pex adapters are required for install, along with a screwdriver, wire crimpers and butt connectors.
