Ok, I would highly recommend this receiver. I love the fact that it doesn't have an external antenna wire. Easy to setup.

Value is questionable but the quality of Futaba products is not. Very happy with my Futaba radio systems and their receivers work excellent.

I have 3 of these that I run in my indoor 1/10 scale race vehicles. Also great for use in crawlers. In my nitro vehicles, I use receivers with external antennae.

Love it, but binding to radio can be a bit of a pain as there are many options to choose from between telemetry and speed. Know what your servo requires, and read what option corresponds to it. But that’s any receiver these days.

My daughter had her RC10 about 500 feet away and still had control. At 600', it we went into fail safe (neutral/straight) until we walked toward it and it regained the signal. Awesome.

Awesome receiver. Small foot print, no antenna. easy setup/ binding Futaba quality, great range even with no antenna. won't break the bank. this is a real winner.

Okay so I have a 4PLS radio and tried binding the R204Gf-E. You must change the RX Mode to S-FHSS from the stock T-FHSS. Ther eis a menu on the radio when you switch it to display mode. Do that and the green LED should pop on and new Rx should work. I seriously thought I had a DOA rx until I read another review here. I was not happy but calmed down and read the 4PLS manual and figured it out.I can't wait to try this new rx in my RC4WD Gelande II Cruiser project soon. Just happy rx work and the price was excellent!Thanks for reading and hope I help more 4PLS owners. Maybe I am a dummy!! LOL

When I first attempted to bind the receiver to my radio (Futaba 4PLS) I thought that it was not working. Unlike other receivers that I have, the LED does not come on when you connect power - it only comes on once connected to the radio. This can be very confusing since you don't really know if it is broken or just not able to bind. Once paired up with the radio it works great, although I have not tested it's range.

I bought this to install in my 1/16 E-Revo so I could use my Futaba 4PL radio. This baby is tiny, fit with plenty of room to spare and the reception is great. It doesn't have an antenna, but I can run my mini E-Revo out several hundred yards with no problem. I'll be getting a few more of these to retrofit my other RC cars.
