This slips around the fuel pump assembly and is used in conjunction with the lock ring o-ring seal (AC Delco G24) to properly seal a gas tank on a 1999 Tahoe 4 door SUV.

Replaced my fuel pump on my 2003 Buick regal (easy job as there is an access panel in the trunk) and wanted to make sure I replaced the seal with a quality seal and most people know when you buy parts like a pump the seal they throw in the box with the pump is usually low quality and there is nothing like having to repeat a job because you use the crappy seal that they give you with the part. Save yourself the headache and buy a quality seal and throw the one the comes in the box in your spare parts box.
