It's not like the product is a bad product. Come here, the concept is amazing. It's just the product has very thin walls, so it's not gonna be too sturdy for the 33 inch. Tire, I'm going to put on it, but with that in mind, if you are good at modifying in and fabrication. You can do like I planned when I bought. This was to reinforce it and adapt it to suit my needs. Great foundation to start with.

Against my better judgment and under a deadline I purchased this carrier due to the speed at which it could be delivered. Every negative review is correct - the metal is very thin, the connection between the upper and lower portions is poorly designed, the metal plate bent wimhile tightening the tires attachment bolts. I even beefed up the screw connections for the two pieces by adding loctite to the screw threads and then wrapping with tape. In the end it was a weld failure at the top of the post that met its demise. I'm thankfully within the return/refund range and will be doing so. Don't buy! Spend more for a Curt or Draw-Tite

My uncle has camper and he needed it for his spare tire and its Stability is nice and performance and easy to install and weight and fit and no missing parts every parts was in it

I purchased for my campervan January 2024. Initially was pleased with hardware as it allowed me to open the rear doors of my van. Also, I wanted to reserve my review until after my first campervan shakedown roadtrip between Virginia and Oklahoma.The result was while on return to Virginia thru Tennessee I heard a loud bang from the rear of my van. I got out a a truck stop and couldn't determine where the sound came from. I continued on and after arriving home I unlatch the tire bar to access the rear of the van to realize the spare tire was barely holding on. The tire was still bolted but the connection point had snapped away from the upright (see photo). Less than 7 months old and only seen well paved rural roads/bi-waysWhoa, had my spare came completely away [ during heavy traffic, on the mountain road construction] or worse caused injuries or been fatal to other drivers while on the road...Bottom line, this tire mount SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED. Before you consider this tire mount, CONSIDER if you or your loved one was behind someone on the road and their spare tire broke from the mount and impact them literally or collaterally.I won't be using this again, the risks are too great.USMC/USAF Disabled Veteran

It’s the right shape and functionality, but they used very thin flimsy metal. I’m going to have to weld on reinforcement before I can put my 31 inch tire on it and feel good about. I think it’s overpriced for the gauge steel they used.

the tire carrier is not made with same hitch grade steel its thinner. It will hold 200lbs, but thats it. Its welded around bottom and out side but not welded inside. Could i build it for cheaper, no.. if you use your hitch there will be play in it and tire could shake. Unit came with basic instructions in vacuum sealed bags, and foam wrapped parts. I think its worth 100.00. To be able to change your tire quickly if your on a long trip. Im 49 years old

Acero muy delgado para la función que pretende.Los tornillos de las ruedas hicieron muescas desde el primer uso.Soporte se aflojó.No alcancé a perder la refacción; pero no lo pude volver a usar.Por daño tampoco tramite devolución.Evita la compra.

Had to modify it because it was to close to the tailgate with the tire on it. So I modify it. If it was 3 to 4 inches longer.

I can say how good it is there was missing parts They Got back to me in about 2 weeks they went out of there to resolve my problems i am happy that they tried to solved my problem
