This little space heater works great. We bought this for our master bedroom since it gets a draft and very cold anyways, we use it at night for 8 hours and it makes it the same room temp as the rest of our house. It has a timer, heat temps settings(which we use the lowest setting), and I do like the temperature control you can set it to whatever temperature you prefer. 10 out of 10 recommend this.

Amazing, for the price they really work well, I have a small apartment and just two of them keep my energy bills down, nice remote for them so you can be a crossed the room and adjust it, it oscelates so it can heat the whole room.

Almost talked myself out of ordering this great little heater --- so glad I didn't! It's an overall good looking designed unit and the controls are easy enough to use --- especially with a large on/off button placed in middle of the top. Also, although it's a bit spindly, the small remote has been very handy. Its size & dark color makes it difficult to locate at times, but I finally used a velcro strip to locate it on desk edge of desk. I was satisfied enough with this item that I ordered a 2nd one for my sister --- she's quite pleased also. My only disappointment with it was a somewhat short power cord --- nearly 6 inches less than other listings. However, even that inconvenience didn't diminish its value for me. Worth it!

Couldn’t be happier. Use it under my desk at work. Takes up very little space and makes even less noise. Perfect for my needs.

This is my third purchase, I love this space heater. The heat output is perfect, functions well, it’s safe, spacious and I use my remote control from my bed. I use it for me and my dogs. Have no problems so far. Try it, you’ll keep it.

Heater came veey nicely packaged, easy to setup, also has Great heat output. Remote works good with it and I'm not very comfortable during all of this winter we're having. They say it's very loud mine is about what you'd expect from say a small computer like your playing a game on it but otherwise not too bad.HOWEVER there is one dangerous thing about this Heater. Make sure you do not have your TV remote pointing in it's area as for some reason it reacts to other remotes like your TV which can be a little bit of safety risk. Obviously don't point your TV remote at it just use the one it comes with.Otherwise Great Heater and hope it lasts for a very long time!

I bought the GAIATOP Space Heater for our icy cold basement, which I’m pretty sure doubles as a penguin habitat. This little heater works so well, I half expected to hear complaints from the penguins about the sudden heatwave. Within minutes, the room went from "Arctic Expedition" to "Tropical Paradise," and I can confidently say I no longer fear frostbite while folding laundry. It’s compact, quiet, and throws off heat like it’s got something to prove. Honestly, I think it’s competing with the sun. I even had to ask it to tone it down a little—it’s that good. The only downside is that my kids now think the basement is the coolest (well, warmest) hangout in the house, and I’ve lost my peaceful, chilly retreat. If you’ve got a space colder than your ex’s heart, this heater is the MVP. Highly recommend!

Summary: Critical oversight in key design elementsHave close friends visiting with newborn and wanted to make sure they would stay nice and comfortable in our guest room so bought to help regulate the room temp (since we don't have central heating). Thankfully tested it out before they arrived to discover not only did it have a strong plastic off-gas smell straight out of the box and super noticeable when you actually turn it on, but it doesn't actually regulate the temperature.Details:There is a temp sensor and three power levels so if you set it to say 70 and it's 60 it'll heat using whatever power levels you set it to initially, but once it reaches the desired temp ***IT DOESN'T TURN OFF*** it will only drop down to the "low" 600W power setting and keeps heating the room (in my case a pretty standard 12'x10' room). I initially set it to 66 when the room was at 55 degrees just to test it on low power and a couple hours later checked the room temp to be surprised that it had risen up to 75 degrees and was still running. Now, there is an option of leaving the door open so it has to heat a larger area and maybe reaches an equilibrium that's still not too hot (but now there's no privacy at night for the guest room) or set a timer to shutdown after an hour or two (an available option) but then if it cools off after that it won't kick back in. Neither of these are great and definitely not what was described or desired.I also tried to remove the strong plastic smell by both running it for a few hours while producing heat and then in "wind" mode (just fans) overnight in my garage but it still smells very strongly of off-gasing plastic.Noise:Not actually that quiet. Not terrible I guess, but sounds like two computer fans running at max-speed. Which you can ignore during the daytime but if you're trying to sleep it's definitely noticeable and potentially too loud.Pros: Looks nice, good button interface, and quite small for the power output.Outcome:I am returning this product and don't recommend today unless both key issues are addressed by design material choice and firmware behavior.Update: +1 Star for good customer support.
