I had to learn about this scope. But used it on a .22 cal gamo pellet gun. But ultra clear in the scope the zoom is amazing! Adjustment is a little weird on the wind turret. It will start go right then goes up on the adjustable there is a video on YouTube a guy shows it but overall good scope.

Great Scope. Works well. Feels solid and feels better than many more expensive scopes in my opinion. If you have Picatinny Railing and really want this scope you can just buy some 1 inch scope rings suitable for picatinny and replace the ones that come with the scope.

Purchase the scope to replace a bad one on my air rifle, (same brand) scope was bad out of the box. Reticles will not stay true! They rotate overtime the rifle is discharged. I do not recommend this product.

This was a good scope for the money. I wanted something functional but not super expensive. It works well enough for what I need. I was able to get quarter groups at 100 yards pretty consistently. There was a bit more parallax than I would have liked, but not enough to spend more money.

This one I purchased because the other 2 broke and this one was broken and never used but when I look at it before installation it was already broke. I am not rough on my equipment and this is too many to accept.

First of all, this is a great looking scope !! That being said, I used it for about 250 rounds and it totally crashed on me and zero was a thing of the past at that point . I mounted it on my Gamo Swarm Whisper and worked great at first . I know that spring pistons are scope destroyers . I figured that Gamo would have this solved with their scopes and that’s why I purchased it . I purchased it this last January and it died on me in March. Like I said, I put about 250 rounds through it and lost my height . I tried shimming etc... Still no go ! Got a hold of Amazon and was told that I couldn’t replace through them because time had expired . So they put me in touch with Gamo in Arkansas ( Daisy) and found out I was a week out of the 90 day warranty . They went ahead and still honored the warranty and let me send it back. As of now, I am waiting on my scope to return to me . Hopefully, the replacement holds up !!! I did see that I originally spent over $ 70.00 on it in January and now the same scope goes for $ 50.00 . I will follow up this review with another about the new scope. An awesome scope when it works !!!

The only complaint so far is the Mounting Rings that come with this scope are for a Weaver Mount only and will not fit a Picatinny Rail. Had a set of 1 inch medium height rings on hand so i used those instead.Mounted scope to my Savage B17 16 1/4 inch barrel 17 HMR rifle and went to the range. Did a quick bore sight and things seemed to be pretty much on so I fired first round and it was slightly high and to left of target center. Slight adjustments brought round pretty much in bull. Fired about fifty rounds at 50 yards and the scope rifle combo shot better than I can.Moved over to 100 yards and things were more than satisfactory. After around 100 rounds or so the scope has held zero so far. View seems clear and reticle is sharp when focus ring is adjusted.Plan to try the 17 grain adjustment at 300 yards next time out. Based on the scope instructions since I have it zeroed at 100 yards and the top turret indicator is on 100 yards, moving the turret to 300 yard setting should be on target, or at least that is the hope.EDIT: Update . The 300 yard setting does work. Shot at 300 yards yesterday with turret set to 300. Was hitting slightly right and low. Adjusted side turret to left and on target but still slightly low. Turned turret slightly past 300 and was on target. Still holding zero nicely and so far I like the scope.

I purchased this item as a gift. The item was priced to sell with a full one year warranty from GAMO and made a great gift. A solid scope designed and rated for air guns is a must have for air rifle use. This scope is by no means an exception to that rule. It's a great buy for a true air gun scope distributed and backed by a reputable air gun manufacturer. The item was well packaged in clam shell packaging with good documentation and it had a very solid feel and appearance. The package states the scope is rated for use on all air guns and .22 caliber rifles. It came with suitable mounts for most applications and functions as described. It's not Mil-Dot but for a 3-9X40 AO GAMO scope you can't beat the price. At around $57 via Amazon with Free Prime shipping it's at least 20% less than buying from other retailers. If Mil-Dot is important to you check out the BARSKA 3-12X40 AO air gun scope currently available from Amazon with Free Prime shipping.
