I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to install new torsion cables. Installation could not have been easier. Taking my time and even using a shot of silicone here and there I was done in 30 minutes. Door operates smoothly and far quieter than before with the old cables that were crimped and frayed. Pretty simple and very cost effective repair.

Estimate from garage door repair service 150 plus service call 70 bucks. Took an hour to install and works perfect. 20 bucks for cables. Do it your self check You tube for how to videos and save some cash.
