Installation
Repalcing your garage door side
1:make sure your garage door is closed to the bottom,and the power of the automatic opener is off ,in case accident
2 :use a electric hand drill with proper drill head to remove the old lock from the panel and remove the old parts and the screws
3:set the new lock in position and make sure the slide bolt match the track well so that you can open and close the track easily
4:the left and the right are the same setting way ,keep the lock tight and the slide bolt vertical
adding a lock for the deadbolt
adding a lock when you are not at home for a long time or go on vacation
they come with a hole in the end so we can put a keyed pad lock on to better secure the building

only one bolt is not secure enough ,so we have two for each pack ,you can set on the left and right of the garage ,to keep the door more safe and not easy to break in
Having 2 deadlocks on opposite sides (Installed 1 on each side )
and different panels of the door provides better integrity.
- just make sure you have slots on the garage side rails and space before purchasing (if you’re adding this to your automatic or manual garage door)

remember to release the inner lock before you use the remoter to open the garage ,or you will damage your garage door and the suffer a loss

Pretty basic and simple product - not much to report on. Works as intended, though I did have to get some larger self-tapping screws as the existing holes in my garage door were a little too big to get a good bite with the supplied screws.

For the price, fits the bill and need well. Bolts are a little smaller than others on the door, so I replaced them with some that had more beef to them. Locking mechanism moves well and function meets expectation. Bottom line, I think there are better quality locks out there, but for the price, these do the job adequately.

Locks are good, have strong construction, and have good throw distance. I needed to remove rails to cut a slot, but there was no problem with the bench drill. The self-tapping screws that it comes with are rubbish. The self-tapper tips are almost wider than threads; I had never seen that before. Good thing I looked first. The locks are definitely good.

This extra garage door physical security lever was a great find and easy to install. I just used my drill with appropriate socket to screw into the garage door. The self-tapping screws made it super simple and were were the perfect size, as they did not go throught the garage door. I highly recommend it...but if you have a habbit of pushing the electric door opener..then this is not for you...lol.

The only thing at this point, is to train everyone not to hit the garage door open button by the side door.Thinking of a cover over the button to slow them down...We are humanWould not hurt to spray corrosion control inside before mounting.

Very easy to install. Use a punch to get a pilot dimple. Nice self tapping screws with plastic washer. Install took about 5 minutes per lock.
