I bought standard springs in the past and they lasted about 10k cycles (6.5 years) which they were rated for. These new springs came with gloves and longer bars which made installation much easier. They’re rated for twice as many cycles so I’m hoping to get 12 years out of these. The product arrived earlier than quoted and came with instructions. So far I’m happy with this purchase and will buy from them next time I need something for my garage door.

This review is for .234 x 1.75 x 31 garage door springs. These were shipped quickly and well packaged. Appear to be great quality. Installed by myself and working well. Watch a couple utube videos so you can do it safely. Note: I opened the boxes before I removed the old springs to check the sze, but did not take them out of the box. I did not find the included winding bars. Luckily I had some 1/2 steel rod and I cut my own - but then when I went to install the second spring, found the bars tucked inside the second spring. So check there if you don't see them when you open the boxes. These are claimed to have a much higher cycle rating than almost all of the other springs this size on Amazon. Hopefully they will last. Nice product and great purchas.

This product was very reasonably priced. My husband installed it by himself with ease. Huge savings to buy this kit from Amazon rather than pay a professional to come and install it. My advise would be to buy it, you won’t be dissatisfied. I personally would recommend 2 ppl tho if you are not a crazy weekend warrior like my husband. 😉

The spring was fairly easy to install. I watched several YouTube videos about how to install it safely. I followed the instructions and everything went smoothly. My garage door works great now.

Installed two months ago. Must have openned and close the Garage Door over 100 times since then. Working great! Follow instructions you find on Youtube and you should have not issues. No expert but looked likes quality products. I originaly tought the gloves were going to be useless but OMG was I ever glad I had them.Great buy.
