This will be perfect for my pool opening! I live on a well, and the water filter I used before was almost 3x the price of this one. To test it I ran water through the hose and ther was a significant reduction in foul smell. which I usually can't tell when filling my chlorinated pool. So I think this is gonna be my go to for seasons to come. Fortunately, I dont have to totally fill the pool, so this should last a good long time. Great Value for the money, easy to install, WHat else could i ask for? Recommend.TADA!

Not a whole lot to say! But it does a good job filtering the water going into my pressure washer. I have noted that the mineral buildup is gone and all that comes out is pure water. When washing the car, this is a huge plus because it doesn’t leave spots on the vehicle. It is easy to hook up and works instantly to filter the water. I noticed no real difference in water pressure with it either.Overall, a good filter at a very reasonable price. It will help clean up the water going into whatever expensive device you are looking at using it with. Or, it will help purify the water you drink. Though, I can’t totally vouch for that as I didn’t use it for that purpose.

This pool pre-filter definitely makes a difference. My initial test, where I simply poured a cup of water through the filter, didn't work. It seems some water pressure is needed to push the water through the internal filtration media. However, when I hooked it up to my garden hose, I got good results. My initial TDS reading was 290. After running water through the filter for five minutes, I tested again and was pleasantly surprised to see a TDS reading of 232—a reduction of nearly 20%! I'm happy to know this pre-filter works and will be using it to replenish my pool water.

We have been using inline hose filters for several years now, and it does make a big difference, whether filling your hot tub or small pool or even washing your car. They are easy to use, and you can tell the difference, especially in washing your car. It helps to reduce water spotting.The only thing is that make sure you flush the filter when using it for the first time, by running a few gallons of water through it first. What this does, is remove any loose carbon particles that might be suspended in the water. But after the initial flushing, the water will be just fine and purified.We have found that it usually requires a smaller amount of chemicals needed to maintain our hot tub when we use this inline hose filter to initially fill our hot tub at the beginning of every season, or when we drain and replace the water mid-way through the season.
