This was such a nice product! A lot of material for an affordable price! Needed something to protect my garden beds, specifically my lettuces and herbs which always attracts the smallest of critters that can worm its way through a lot of things. We put this up a few weeks ago and so far it has been great. We have more than enough material left over for our other beds for to use in other planting seasons. The material is soft but also durable, we didn't have issue with ripping or tearing. We have our garden on a watering system from below but we tried water it through the sheet itself and water went through effectively. Lifted it up and zero bugs! Definitely working as it should.

Came as two vacuum sealed packages. Mesh is nice and fine so it should keep most things out of whatever you're protecting. It's also nice and sturdy so I don't think it will tear easily.

I am really happy with the way this mesh garden netting feels. It has a thicker or more dense feel than some of the other garden netting I have tried. Last summer due to drought, heat waves, and horrible grasshoppers, we also had to deal with a blister beetle invasion which was devastating to our backyard garden. After talking with our extension service, they recommended trying garden mesh netting and also different weights of frost blankets to help combat the blister beetles this year, which are most likely going to return. A couple of years ago, I purchased a garden mesh that complete unraveled and left these fine stringy fibers all around the edges that were a pain. It would get caught in the plants, our shoes, whatever the strings could attach themselves to. This netting feels stronger, so I am hopeful! It is also breathable and lets the water through so once it is secured, we can still see and water our veggies while keeping them protected.I would check the measurements to make sure it will fit whatever you would like to cover. This mesh is definitely a thumbs up from us!

I always have a problem in the spring with those little white moths laying eggs on my broccoli plants. I got this to keep them off my plants without having to use any chemicals. The netting is plenty wide enough to make a nice tunnel for my plants to grow under. I like that it doesn't snag on things easily. I didn't have any hoops to hold it up, I just used wood sticks to prop it up and it just glides over them making it very easy to position it properly over the plants. The weave of the netting lets water and light through. I can't wait to harvest my broccoli, caterpillar free.

This netting is thin and easy to handle. It comes with plenty to cover your garden beds and still have a lot left over. I only opened one of the two packages and have at least 2/3 of the open package left. It has the consistency of a thin veil. It holds in place while watering. I watered my seedling this morning and it created a raining effect. The holes are very small to keep insects out. My purpose for it is to discourage the cats from climbing into the raised beds while my seeds are growing.

The packages arrived vacuum sealed and when I opened each of them, there wasn’t any defects, a single tear, or loose threads. This will definitely help you to protect your vegetables or fruits that you are trying to grow.I’m going to use these for protecting my newly planted seedlings, and especially for trying to prevent pickle worms infecting my cucumber crop.It’s a great material and I feel that this will last many growing seasons in the years ahead. I compared this material to other covers that I have, and I’m very pleased with the quality.A definite recommendation from a homestead gardener!

This insect netting is precisely what's needed to keep bugs from damaging plants. They are a necessity for chemical free vegetable gardening. Even organic chemicals are poison, so going organic isn't enough. Every year, flea beetles decimate my eggplant. Not this year. For effectiveness, I would give these five stars. That said, the ends of the fabric are unfinished. See photo. That's going to limit the life span of the netting. It's going to unravel. Also, one of the packages I received had some type of petroleum residue on the netting. I suspect it's some sort of lubricant, and it smells.. well, like petroleum. Petroleum will contain heavy metals, and I don't want to be adding that to my garden. The price is good. For less than $12 you can cover a 30 ft row. That's a good deal.
