Great outdoor facilitator in gardening. Greatly reduces strain on one's back & knees which further adds to the enjoyment of tasks. Very easy to assemble and light weight for carrying. Proof that "made in America" still shines.

I'll be honest. I should have looked around a bit before getting this. I hurt my knee and can not kneel to weed my garden for a while. (The weeds cheered!) I have used their other stool without wheels and thought having the rollers would make this a perfect solution until my knee healed. My garden is large and has meandering pathways through out, all lined with rocks. The problem with this unit is that the rollers don't turn. They only go in a straight line. To go around a corner I have to get off the seat and change the direction of the rollers. My knee is not happy about this. The pad on the seat is very thin and not well secured to the seat so it's always shifting. The seat swivels which is nice and the rollers stablize the unit when I extend my arms to reach distant weeds. It was easy to assemble and it is light weight - easy to carry. The seat height is adjustable too. Just wish the rollers would go around corners but looking at them, I don't know how that can happen without a major redesign. sigh.

Thick and heavy material. Goes together very easy. I already used it a few times. It felt sturdy beneath me, rolled easily and the seat was as comfortable as something like this can be. I didnt purchase the cushion because I dont intend to sit on it for hours. Overall I liked it.

I love the large size seat on this stool and that it is adjustable. I thought the tapered wheels on it was some kind of gimmick but they really do allow you to lean forward. I've been using it for several days now and am considering getting another so I don't have to carry it back and forth between the garden and the house..

I very rarely write product reviews, but this one was worth it. I wanted a weeding seat but was hesitant to buy one because I didn't think any of them would be strong enough to support me without breaking. This is strong enough, the seat is comfortable and swivels nicely, the wheels are shaped so they don't bog down in the dirt, and the height is adjustable. It just made my morning of weeding a lot less stressful on my body. Side note: The grandkids thought it was a great toy to ride around on in the back yard. :D

After knee replacement, I searched extensively for a rolling seat that I could use to weed in gravel. This was the only one that is low enough to do the job without having to bend over so much. (I am 5' 8" ). It doesn't roll that well in the pea gravel, but I can pull it along under me much more easily than the thick sofa cushion i was using before. I gave it 4 stars for comfort only because I think five would be impossible. The fact that it only rolls in a straight line is a negative, but since the seat swivels, it's still usable. Using on concrete was a piece of cake. I did have to be careful sitting down, having something like a bucket or a stationary object to hold onto. A shorter person probably wouldn't. When I have a hard time getting up, I know it's time to quit.

This product deserves zero stars but unfortunately amazon will not allow a true rating and forces us to at least one star it.This product is a cheaply made wobbly plastic "seat". Even if it worked it would only be worth $10-$20...but if it helps get the job done sometimes it's priceless. In this case it is not.I have hip and knee problems. I bought this to garden. Due to it's non-sturdiness noticeable the second it was out of the box, I tried it out in my house first. Even in a best case scenario of a smooth, level floor, and it's lowest most stable height, I still almost fell off. When you're falling off a mini chair and try to stabilize yourself it is PAINFUL on the knees. It's called a rocker because you will rock right off of it. I had several friends come over and try it out and they mocked me for paying $40 for an absolutely unstable useless product. It's like Vertex has this conspiracy to further hurt handicapped gardeners. Maybe Monsanto owns Vertex and is trying to get rid of all the home gardeners... LolI threw it in the garbage because I was so angry with this product that I couldn't look at it for another second!

I had the other "rocker" seat by the same company and recently replaced it with the upgraded roller version. The rocker lasted 4 years and that seemed reasonable. The roller version seemed better and was a bit more comfortable, but today it broke on the second day after only three hours or so of use. The piece that holds the seat in place gave way and dumped me to the ground. I have written asking for a refund.Follow up several months later:The company contacted me with a suggestion. They had recognized a design flaw and claimed to have fixed it. They offered to send me the newly designed seat as well as the orinigal seat. That way if the new one did not work, I would still have a usable seat without waiting. I was surprised when the two seats arrived to find a letter thanking me for beta testing the new design, as well as several of the accessories, all without charge. Now that is customer service.I am happy to report that the new roller seat is still working fine. And am delighted to now have the roller seat for the flat part of the property and the original rocker seat for the vegetable garden, which has some slope.
