The Difference Among the Power Meter Pedals
Simply put, the RS200/RK200/XC200 models are a dual-sensing system with BOTH pedals tracking rider data, enabling it to provide detailed Cycling Dynamics (i.e. left/right balance, seated versus standing, platform center offset, etc). The RS100/RK100/XC100 models measure only power output & cadence.

Mountain bikers no longer have to use road pedals on the trail & Road bikers will no longer have to hear Mountain bikers complain about it! The XC100/200 is off-road, while the RS100/200 & RK100/200 are on-road. Challenge yourself by using 3rd-party platforms such as Strava, TrainingPeaks & Zwift.
