It did what it was suppose to do and clear my checked my gas cap sensor.. But you have to drive for 50 miles for it to clear...

Works as expected on my 2005 Honda Odyssey. Fits perfectly, and no check engine light. The gas cap clicks as it is supposed to. Also, the weird little knob fits perfectly in the little gas cap door to prevent it from hitting the side of the van.

Easy to install once the old plastic pop rivet was popped off. This rivet fastens a plastic nylon cord from the gas cap to the van. Glad the rivet didn't break as I needed to use it with the new gas cap.

I almost never write bad reviews, that being said, i'm going to make an exception for this one. First of all, this seemed like any other gas cap, going on to, and fitting fine, my 2011 ridgeline. However I got a dud. I know this for sure because at my state inspection facility (i used to be a state inspector for my state) I watched the gas cap test fail a four times in a row. My old gas cap passed the first time, and the replacement I got from O'Reilys (which was $4 cheaper than here i might add) passed the first time as well.I received a defective product, but installed it and tested it juuuustttt outside of the return window.Guess its partly my fault for waiting, but I cant leave a good review for a product that is more expensive than your local parts store, and might be defective....

Perfect fit for my Honda accord good quality as original replacement .The check engine light off. Make sure you get the correct year model for the Honda accord since they they have different sizes. Save the original you might need the original tether in my case the tether is short and just replace it with the old one.

My Honda ridgeline all the sudden popped up a warning light that said tighten gas cap. After going and clicking and tightening the gas cap it was obvious that it was tight so I removed the gas capped inspected the gasket. Everything looked perfect but obviously wasn’t so I decided to go with this aftermarket gas cap instead of OEM because it was about half the price. I tested it out before pulling the grommet out and installing it hard like the factory gas cap. Got in the truck started the truck and the error code was still there. I decided to give it a while and after two days of driving it I got in the vehicle and bingo, no more error message. Mounting the new holder to the vehicle was easy. If you take your time and wiggle out the old grommet, you can reuse it. Thank you for a wonderful product and I hope this review helps others.
