The PSI rating on this hose seems to be ridiculously low. It's not terribly clear as to what that is, but Rufus says it is 1/2Lb (.5Lb) per square inch. I believe it takes more than that to air up a balloon. I had thought about using this for liquid propane transfer, but will not be doing that. The fittings that come with it are seemingly quality fittings and would be suitable for other higher pressure applications. Just not sure what to make of this extremely low pressure rating and will watch to see if the seller will step up to the plate and make some clarifying remarks. It surely looks like it should handle more than 1/2PSI.

The natural gas grill had a whip which after years of moving and weather had developed a leak. This whip was the perfect replacement.

Squirrels(?) gnawed a hole in my original hose.This hose is sturdy and was easy to install.(Hopefully, squirrels don't find it as tasty as the original.)

I wanted to hook up my house LP stub to my Camp Chef side kick grill and this hose and included adapters worked perfectly. I had a 1/2" stub from my house LP connection and needed a 1/2" adapter to connect to the quick disconnect but other than that it all work great. The included 3/8 adapter worked great to connect the hose to my grill. Really happy with the way everything worked out.

I accidentally broke the fitting that came with my Weber grill and this fit perfectly and the brass fittings seemed even better than what came with the grill. It was less than half the price of a similar product at the store!

Yeah, so this is half the cost of brand name, but still has high quality parts.Great, solid fittings. Attached to my generator in a snap, and don't leak at all.I will say that these types of hoses shouldn't be left in the elements, they will dry out and crack over time, just fyi. But yeah, if you need to connect your generator to a gas line, this is the kit to buy! Great deal!

It took me a while to purchase this hose because reviews and description were a little confusing on size. I needed a 1/2" hose for my generator that would eventually go to a 3/4" on the female NPT end at the generator. This hose has a 1/2" male quick disconnect with a 1/2" FLARE female end. If you need to buy fittings for the female end be sure to buy FLARE NPT fittings, not just regular NPT. Personally I wound up buying a 1/2" male flare to 3/4" male NPT adapter for the generator end. The hose does come with a reducer that reduces the 1/2" female flare to a 3/8" female flare.With all that in mind the hose seems to be decent quality and is much much lower priced than some name brand hoses. We will see how it holds up over the years, but so far I am happy with the quality and of course the price.
