Once you get above the 8ft livestock gate size, you need one of these on your gates! Not only does it take pressure off your post from holding up the entire weight of the gate by itself, but it makes going in and out so much smoother, especially when leading horses.

listen these are good wheels for your gate, just not long enough for my needs, I'm going to cut them in half and weld some flat bars on them to extend them.

I mounted these on 2 gates. Had to modify them as I installed them on a grass surface. They might have worked on a concrete surface but on mowed grass they would pivot on the horizontal gate bar no matter how much I tightened them. I then mounted them on the gate end upright. Had to grind away a little of the weld on the bottom horizontal bar to get them to slide under the end of the gate upright. Then I made a strap for each U bolt and bolted them upright with the strap to secure them in place. Now the gate sits directly on the roller bracket and stay in place. For my application a larger diameter wheel would help too but it works as is.

Real easy to assemble but the product has a heavy cancerous smell that resembles diesel.

These gate support wheels are good for the price, dropped 2 stars because the mounting holes are significantly larger than the hardware provided so they don’t stay nice and straight due to the tolerances.

I have a large heavy bull gate 16' and needed a wheel to keep it from sagging over time. I choose this one because it looked heavy and awesome adjustment. I could not be more pleased. Works great, swings well on gravel and doesn't slip when tightened down.
