Unfortunately Amazon either does not carry, or it's database is incomplete, a heater bypass hose for a Alfa Romeo. This Gates brand heater hose at 1/2" I.D. looked to have about the right arc and after nibbling back some length (about 2.125" from the 'long' end and 1" from the short) it fit fine. On the Alfa this is a pretty tight bend and a preformed hose is a necessity as attempting to arc a hunk of straight hose compresses the bend and seriously reduced the flow available to the heater/defroster.

This is the coolant bypass hose on a 1992 Toyota pickup 22RE engine. Fits perfectly.You can save a lot of money purchasing all three Gates hoses that are up under the intake on a 22RE.Gates 18222, Gates 18223 plus the Gates 18400, and you will have it covered.
